It is but you need a piece of tech called an 'Everdrive' to run on actual N64 hardware and its expensive to purchase and complicated to set-up so know that going in

can't legitimately, they'll just get sanity checked anyway unless you disable the sanity checks with a mod or CT (or maybe a console command iirc, which can be automated thru a specific mod, so ideally you'd wanna use a mod loader anyway)
