These are beautiful, they fight really well too. Not the first time I’ve caught one. The swim in the middle of the water column, my bait hadn’t reached the bottom, my nail arm was open and then it just took off!

Some good sized salmon there mate. Gave u some good fights from the kayak. The wind gets a bit tough these days even in a boat its annoying but in the kayak u did well 👍

I love my little one man vessel 😂. I couldn’t believe how windy it got after 12pm. Crazy. These salmon were huge, 62cm and 65cm and the last one that got away I reckon was bigger, went on some massive runs

Nice bream mate ! Once the weather warms up you will get them in Bonnells and chain valley fishing offshore. 3 inch Berkley peppered prawn minnows are a good imitation of the bait.

@@MitchosFishing I have watched some of your vids mate, you have been killing it. Gallgabba has monster choppers more the southern end. They like to keep jackal chubbies. Myuna has the biggest longtoms in the world i reckon 😏 All those bream will roll back in after their spawn on blacksmiths or further north and then the sand islands will be swarming.

They’re pretty rare in the lake but most of the time they will follow sharks, similar to the remora.
