The original is the best! The remake had a couple good moments, nothing compares to Burt Reynolds in his Prime!

@@judgegiant8951 That's what Cameron said In July 2023, that he would be filming the new Alita films in Austin but it could have just been wishful thinking, assuming Disney would honour he and Jon Landau's wishes to make the sequels but perhaps Disney have betrayed him (which he will never admit) as we haven't heard anything for ages.

IMO both versions are dumb and predictable. The serious moments don’t mix well with the juvenile humor

I really have to explain this because there is a lot to this that really makes me love the movie a lot this is why I personally love the whole movie as much as I do so lily and jimmy and Lola and angel and the 4 horse men all went to the same school together and jimmy and lily were in a relationship and a football player was attempting to lily and jimmy beat him nearly to death by punching him repeatedly over and over again lily got him off the football player ended up in the hospital died about 48 hours later just like what happened with Shelly in the original movie and died and lily brother the only cop in the town arrested jimmy jimmy got off on self defense for lily that is what started all that problem
@mikewhite8663
@mikewhite8663 7 ай бұрын
This movie was a complete mess but I love it so dam much what really took me out of the movie is they show you that jimmy actually owns the car that skank crashed in the first movie and it has the dukes of hazard paint job on it that is when I was like I’m fucking done and what really put me on edge before that they brought in the same storyline from the first movie with the eyes being cut out but even though it’s a terrible movie it’s still a dam masterpiece and works but it could have been put together better same problem happened with city of angels

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think you have a good point that there is something good here. They really just needed to work on the script and tighten up the execution.

Moonraker gets a bad rap, it's Spy Who Loved Me IN SPAACE yes but it did what it said on the tin.....You got exactly what you expected with Moonraker. It's constantly placed amongst the worst Bond movies today but it really doesn't deserve the level of opprobrium it faces. A Bit like Quantum of Solace I feel it gets more crap than it deserves. - Moore had a good run - Live and Let Die to For Your Eyes Only, unfortunately he stuck around too long; he should have said no to Octopussy and certainly should have called it a day after Octopussy. Just like Connery should have never come back for Diamonds Are Forever which for me is the absolute nadir of Bond films {again I'm not counting Never Say Never Again here as that's just a terrible 80s remake of Thunderball}.
@franohmsford7548
@franohmsford7548 8 ай бұрын
A View to a Kill is one of the three objectively bad Classic Canon Bond Movies {four if you count Die Another Day}. The other two are Diamonds Are Forever and Octopussy. Never Say Never Again is terrible as well but that's not a Canon Bond film. - A View to a Kill is a movie that probably should never have been made, Moore was way too old at this point and the film steals liberally from Goldfinger; it's not a remake but it's pretty close to being a remake. - The theme song is brilliant, it's one of Duran Duran's best songs and that IS a compliment. I'd definitely have it in the upper half of Bond themes too.

Paulie did enjoy the theme of this one. They should have looked younger this one. Looking forward to seeing how Dalton does at the role

@@smashwriting9183 I'm a big fan of Dalton's Bond. The Living Daylights is in my Top 3 Bond films. Licence to Kill is divisive as it was a departure from the Bond playbook and felt much more like an 80s Action Movie but it's still really good. Dalton got unlucky with legal issues stopping a third film from being made and then Brosnan coming in with a movie that seemingly everyone likes {Goldeneye steals liberally from Living Daylights btw, I'd have loved to have seen Dalton in Goldeneye}.

Moonraker needed more Jaws. I got way too invested in his story of meeting the blonde woman. I think Goldeneye is helped out largely by the N64 game
@franohmsford7548
@franohmsford7548 8 ай бұрын
@@smashwriting9183 A lot of people think Moonraker has too much Jaws {I'm not one of them} :) I was invested in his arc and love story too. - Goldeneye was a big hit when it released, the computer game has helped keep it relevant yes but I don't think it is the reason why Goldeneye is so beloved. That film is full of memes and moments people remember. I'm just annoyed that The Living Daylights gets ignored....especially given how much Goldeneye steals from it.

Ezra (all drama aside) delivered a fun and dynamic performance. Keaton was awesome to see back in the suit on the big screen. It was INCREDIBLY overhyped by those in the industry. Nowhere NEAR the best comic book movie ever made, but I still had a really great time with it! Great review, man!

I went in nervous because of the RT score but walked out having had a good time! I really enjoyed the exploration of the Quatum Realm. The creature and character designs were fun. Kang was awesome and an imposing new threat to the MCU. Yeah, it had some issues but this felt far from being the worst movie in the marvel universe to me. Great review. Keep the videos coming, man 👍
