Pad player here. I just hit my first PEWGF today, and I landed a few more-one of them got me a 123 dmg floor blast combo. I started at the P1 side. If you’re getting CHdf2 > df2, you’re on the right track. I didn’t budge even though it was frustrating, and I finally got it because one of my attempts was a few frames slower (this means Kazuya was able to recover just in time for the PEWGF to be registered). Keep doing this, and you won’t need to rely on the opponent’s knee or the hit effect disappearing. Relying on “the feel” is much more practical, imo.

I’m not sure why heihachi players get such a bad rap. He doesn’t have very many fast buttons to throw in neutral other than df1, 11 or 12, and df4. Other than that you really have to set people up with movement and stance cancels
