Was it really that bad? Iran was in the second place at one point and UKR was also among top 10 for a while. Ofc, Nr.1 should have been India. :)

can you cover games in the line where black grabs the bishop pair? 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. Qb3 c5 5. dxc5 Nc6 6. Nf3 Ne4 I think this is the hardest to play against

Thank you for covering this in a clear and instructive manner. I just saw this mentioned briefly in the game, but it only gave commentary on the crazy knight sacrifice and the rest of the game made no sense to me, as I didn't understand any of the engine moves.

I already knew the game from different sources. But this is the first time I heard about the different ideas in this structure (exchanging the heavy pieces & keeping minor pieces with the idea to sac on f5, etc). Thank you so much for this level of instructiveness :)

Congrats on the first place (even if I'm late ). I discovered your channel tonight and find awesome the fact you play your repertoire online + analyze model games. Thank you for that. I just have one question about the repertoire. What does endorsement mean? Does it mean you checked the files after Angelika made them or that you created them and Angelika imported everything on the platform and made the edit? I already have the course but I'm interested to know the answer. I'm around 2000F and interested to get 2200 with the help of this course. Hope you will get my message as I'm not sure I'm in the right place, thank you and have a nice week end :)
@pgratedchess Жыл бұрын
Thank you! :) You are not late, probably I'll not win another AK ever haha :) I'm planning to do more such streams in the future, just can't really find the time recently. In our case, I selected all the lines for the repertoire, but of course if there was something which Angelika didn't like, we changed the given line. Besides that, I had already some older material on quite a few lines which she could use and we also discussed every single line together. I told it to her as well, that I believe these lines and the analyses should be good at least till 2300 FIDE, or more importantly for her, WGM. Fortunately importing and editing is done by Chessable, that is also a huge work, but not for the authors. :) You can ask here as in the future as well, but probably best is the forum page of the course, or you can join a Skype-group as well, if you want to participate in live-sessions.
@gp2776 Жыл бұрын
@@pgratedchess Thank you for the clarification! I'm glad to read the analysis is strong enough to be played at least until 2300. I'm passionate about the game and dedicated to improving my understanding of it every day. But I was always more interested in reading books on the middlegame and the endgame ; and never learned theory. Your course gives the impression I can also work on all the aspects at the same time! I'll continue enjoying your videos and will try to catch your streams when you will be back! Have a great week and thank you again for all the top-notch content and your detailed answer!

@@pgratedchess Popularity wise I think Slav and QGA. But if I recall correctly from on of the live sessions there maybe are going to be some move order changes in Slav because of one 'problem' line? I also always like Nimzo games.
