This video 3 years ago during pandemic when nobody was kiting except me here at Emerald. I learned after I made this video: Anchor method: also run your hand along the bottom bridal line while walking/running to your kite to stabilize, especially in gusty wind/light wind. (Some people prefer the top bridal line). Anchor self-launching: Attach the safety leash first then the chicken loop.

Not able to do it every day till I get my right knee better. Orthopedic Doctor told me to slowly strengthen your right leg to support your knee. I do the farmers carry 3 days a week.

Farmers carry and dead lifts are quite possibly the best exercises to help with real life. I practice both. Got up to 50 pounds in each hand around the gym. I tried 55 but my spine didn’t like it.

suitcase carry is good too. I had some labouring work and had to carry a few heavy planks on my shoulder. WOW there is a deep muscle between lower shoulder blades i never knew existed.

Yes! Totally agree. And tomorrow go out with just one weight and switch hands every 5 minutes and you’ll crush your abs and obliques. There’s a reason every hay baking season young farmers turned into shredded Adonis’

I can't seem to get past 20 in each hand I'm convince my wrist strength isn't go isn't going to get better ...I do 8 sets of farmers walks every morning 1:20 each and haven't seen any improvement other than I seem a little more toned in the arms

I've thought about what you are describing. Take a break for 7 days. Then only do 1 set of farmers walks every day or every other day. Then add a little more weight each week still doing 1 set. I'm only doing about 1 set in the morning and then perhaps 1 more later in the evening. For me, I've noticed a definite toning along with bigger shoulders on the top and sides than when I don't do them. It's probably some tweaking that would help. And do other body weight exercises like squats, pushups, etc. Even just 5 pushups before each meal goes a long ways I feel. Good luck and enjoy the journey!

sounds like doing the right thing, maybe give it more time. like video maker said, one day on one day off, or 2 on 1 off. atm i have 2 pairs of 2 milk crates turned upside down on top of each other with a thick cutting board on each and just carry a heavy hex dumbell from one to the other, turn around and hold with the other hand. for a while i would just stand over one of them. brace core and pick up and hold for 3 seconds, then put down and do the other hand and repeat for 100 rounds, 5 sets of 20. when that got easy started walking from platform to platform. 40kg. i have typist fingers. i figure i'm 80kg and if can dead hang thats each hand taking 4okg anyway, being dumbells theres more movement. I bought these heavy hex bells second hand, no idea why haha. were cheapish, they keep value so should be able to sell similar to what paid for them.

Green bananas are an excellent source of low glycemic carbs. We eat them more then any carb. But where is your protein, bro? Us mature guys need to increase our protein as me age. 😊
@lifeisgoodoutdoors2680
@lifeisgoodoutdoors2680 Жыл бұрын
You are right. Adequate protein is a must. I get my protein at lunch and dinner with a variety of beans, whole grain rice, eggs, variety of fish. And I eat a ton of food. Right now for lunch, I'm enjoying this vegan bean dish I made with fresh coconut milk, sautéed garlic, onions, ginger, sweet ripe cooking bananas, mung beans, black rice, okra, string beans, squash, some local greens here in the Philippines. Thanks again for the reminder on the protein. It's so important to keep up the protein especially since we exercise a lot and are getting older. Usually, I like to enjoy a lot of fresh, raw fruit in the morning only before noon at the beginning and end of my exercise routine and during sometimes on longer bike rides, body surfing. Sometimes I may have an egg or two or some fish or maybe a regular breakfast of fish, whole grain rice and vegetables. Just depends. But my preference is fruit only until noon similar to what Jesse Itzler does. Google him to find out more about his amazing lifestyle including cold plunges. He's 54 like I am and has been eating fruit only until noon, since 1992. (However, these days, I think he sometimes does slip in some peanut butter in his morning smoothies) If I were to consume this large amount of fruit 1 to 2 times before noon, I'm full and satisfied. I have friends that only eat 1-2 times per day. They skip breakfast for years and eat only lunch and dinner. They seem to do quite well with this and have plenty of muscle. So, in my mind it's no problem at least for me to have 2 main meals packed with protein and then fruit only for breakfast. Unlike my friends, I like food way to much to be only eating 1 or 2 times per day. Occasionally I will only eat 1 or 2 times a day or fast for a day or longer to "reset". (Before I had heard of Jesse, I was frequently eating fruit only in the morning until about noon and then I would switch in a few days and eat only raw fruit in the evening as a dinner replacement. And do plenty of yoga, stretching, biking, walking, hiking, etc. It felt good. I may still rotate it around as fruit only in the evening, for me, is perfect for yoga an hour later for example. and I don't mind skipping my evening meal on occasion, but add in fruit that is so hydrating ahhhh love it. It just makes a lot of sense to me to do this. especially with all the abundant fruit here in the Philippines where I live. Note: and those evergreen bananas are sweet like regular bananas even though they are green. they are soft, creamy and delicious. check him out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJavm6WLr8ybns0

Thank you. there were so many butterflies. I fasted with water, carrot juice, jicama juice, coconut water and also colonic for 7 days last year in May. after the 4th day my vision began to improve. I was outside in my hammock enjoying nature. looking far at birds, butterflies, dragonflies, tree branches, etc. I did minimal work and was not on the computer much at all. That is how I was able to transform my vision. It takes dedication, some willpower to do this. but it's worth it. I'm here if you have more questions. Thanks.

I fasted for 7 days. first 3 days on water. remaining 4 days I had only water, coconut water, carrot juice and jicama juice. I sipped on the juices. I diluted the juices 50/50 with water. the coconut water I drank slowly too by itself. around the 4th day my vision began to improve. by the 6th and 7th day my vision was very clear. I could see far clearly overall. I also did a 7 day colonic with special supplements. but the fasting is the #1 thing that helped clear my eyesight.
