I moved into a new house about 6 years ago, and found what I surmise is a Teisco guitar in a soft case in one of the closets. No idea what model it is, it has 2 gold foil pickups. And an odd headstock which I gather all Teisco models did. Would anyone be able to help me identify it?

E-100 was my first guitar. Snapped the neck in 1978. 53 years later another is arriving Tuesday to replace it.

It arrived and is playable if I set the action high. The first fret is so low that the high E string hits the 2nd fret first. Bought it mostly for nostalgia, but playing it quite a bit because it's more readily accessible than the others.

Love it! I've been playing an original (from everything I have gathered, it has a solid wood neck and big silver pickups that are very hot/crunchy) Teisco Tulip e200 that my parents gave me for a birthday present 40 years ago. I have many guitars now but the tulip is still my favorite guitar! Your Hendrix is excellent, I would like to hear you play more.

I'm just looking at one of these on sale. The schematic looks a lot like the DOD 250, but the gain stage is a little more sophisticated. It is still a very primitive, non-true bypass, low input z/tone-suck circuit. FYI, it's not at all related to a discrete fuzz face type circuit or a TS circuit. Hope this helps!

Pedal seems to have good range. It's a good overdrive sound at lower distortion settings and a thick and heavy fuz as you move up.
