@ShadyNJ: How could Tim Burton thought he could make a remake? And Johnny Depp featuring Marilyn Manson as his inspiration for Willy?? Crrrreeeepy. Gene Wilder is, and shall always be, Willy Wonka. The times are so into realism that this fantasy world of the early 70's will not be tolerated. (MARILYN MANSON??? geezus.)

capie44 This song almost brings tears to my eyes! And yes, Wilder's Wonka is awesome! Depp's Wonka comes across as GAY! And l like almost all the characters in the old show, but hardly any in the remake. In the remake l especially hate Violet & her mom

i watch him in an interview, from last month and he stated he didn't act now becuase he didn't like the bad language, death and destruction in films today. he said if offered a good film he would do it
