Well, we know the tach isn't working "properly", or he wouldn't keep deliberately moving the camera away from it & on to the speedo whenever he blips the throttle. Pretty obvious. And the left rocker cover needs some serious polishing work. Other than that, it seems to be one hell of a nice motorcycle ! I'm envious, for sure !

@@edmunddantes7910 Very kind thanks! Gold spokes are an issue amongst other things, but she deserves some love! After all, not only is it great to see enthusiasts keeping these milestone bikes going, but paying homage to the previous owners who kept them in good condition for the next owners. I'm looking forward to getting started. Cam belts first I think. Wish me luck!

Very nice. I have a 1976 K1 over here in the UK in standard UK spec. In the same colour and nearly as nice as yours. I'm gradually bringing it up. Recently I acquired a brand new unused genuine Honda exhaust for it. So rare now many say they are impossible to find. I haven't ridden mine this year. I have some carb issues to get sorted. Next year I should have it up and running again and will get the exhaust fitted. This year has been more about my '79 CBX and my 2019 DCT Wing.

Thanks. Congratulations on your beautiful bike gl 1000. You are lucky that you managed to buy a new muffler , it seems to be impossible. I hope to meet you on the road with our motorcycles someday. I also wish you great adventures with other motorcycles ( gl 1800 and cbx 1000 x6) Best regards ✌

Hi I have a 76 Gl1000, that honda emblem under the headlight is that original to a 76 ? I thought they were off a 78 or something. yours is nice and tidy , mine just needing paint and spokes . Cheers.

Piękny. świetne malowanie i ciekawe dodatki... no i gaźnik...;)Super rozwiązanie wydechów, jeszcze nie widziałem "true dual'a" zrobionego w taki sposób - mega! Jeszcze chyba jakiś hyper charger tam siedzi ;) - gratuluję "wozidełka" naprawdę klasa. I dużo dodatków z wersji rocznicowej. Fajnie się to komponuje.

Belle machine de légende, inoubliable, même version française mais de couleur rouge que j'ai achetée en 1975 (zone rouge du compte-tours à partir de 8500 tours sur mon modèle). 190 km/heure maximum. J'avais beaucoup hésité à l'époque avec la 900 Z1 Kawasaki mais elle dépassait mon budget. Je rêve encore de ces deux magnifiques motos à 70 ans.

Witam serdecznie!!! Motocykl legenda! Szkoda, że nic pan nie opowiada o restaurowaniu o historii pojazdu. Nie ma nic w internecie o tych klasykach. Niestety nie znam angielskiego, bo coś bym znalazł ale ogólnie lipa!pozdrawiam serdecznie i proszę o więcej .

Witam. Dziękuję bardzo za miłe słowa. Filmy zamieszczane na moim kanale są pamiątką po epizodach z mojego życza ,w którym w taki bądź inny sposób miałem kontakt z tymi zacnymi maszynami. Bardzo się cieszę z każdego komentarza i subskrybenta , natomiast nie jest to główny cel mojego kanału. Niestety , nie mam talentu ani zacięcia do prowadzenia kanału w formie o jakiej Pan wspomina, ale Pańskie i innych fanów motoryzacji odwiedziny kanału oraz komentarz ,to właściwie więcej niż kiedykolwiek oczekiwałem ... Dużo zdrowia 🤝

@@edmunddantes7910 to będą z pewnością wspaniałe pamiątki. Jestem fanem starszych motocykli i choć nie jestem mechanikiem to próbuję odbudować Goldwinga 1100 sc02. Może mi się uda. Bardzo się cieszę, że znalazłem pański kanał bo nawet optycznie widzę jak powinien wyglądać Goldwing bez owiewek.dziękuje bardzo naprawdę. Pozdrawiam.

@@ryszardkrzyzewicz4093 Przepraszam, lecz po namyśle uznałem ,że na chwilę obecną nie dprzedaję gl 1500 Bardzo dużo pieniędzy zainwestowałem w zawieszenie , chamulce , układ jezdny ( wszystko nowe) stąd cena byłaby nie adekwatna do rocznika. Myślę ,że przez kilka sezonów jestem na niego skazany...

Cool bike, I like the style, but an inline 4 is kind of weird for that type of bike. And maybe I would unmount the windshield. Love the shaft drive though. Thanks for keeping that bike in mint condition

Great video of a great bike UNTIL you switched on The Spice Girls!! They don't belong in the GW world😊 Nice looking machine indeed, tasteful accessories, not overly dressed. Got a '91 Aspencade, still think the boxy shaped 1500 model is the best looking out of all the subsequent models that came after.

One of the best looking bikes ever built! Exactly like mine with the exception of the color. My ‘84 “Standard” GL1200 is in Deep Red (like a fine wine).

Что-то он еле шелестит. В 2005-м перебирал карбы другу на ZL600 - так после пуска сосед прибежал с соседнего дома - низкочастотный рык выхлопа разбудил😂 Выхлоп стандартный был...

Had one in 1986 Toured Europe. Holland Berlin before the wall came down. Germany Austria. Over the Alps to Yugoslavia. France Luxembourg Belgium. Back to blighty... 6 weeks .. Yam never missed a beat At the time it was called a poor mans BMW.
