Don't know why I'm surprised a 70 year old does this song, but it's almost 50 years old. Lenny probably been doing this song for 40 + years. Great guitar and vocals; harmonica was an added bonus; and flawless. Thank you Lenny !!

These Days. Late for the Sky. Farther On. Sky Blue and Black. Shape of A Heart. Sleep's Dark and Silent Gate. JB knows it all, feels it all, gives it all back to us in his music. JB unites us all in the communal challenge, emotion, regret, luck, and loss of our so separate and solitary lives.

One moment for a single option please, ladies and gentlemen, in that space where he ran under that sky on that Highway…?…were you ever on your feet, son, and on that dark road hungry and wet and completely alone..?…singing from your heart to the night..?

As much as I love David Lindley, I would have liked to have heard Bonnie Raitt play the slide here. She's quite good at it herself.
@andyfoster23216 ай бұрын
I agree. I love Bonnie Raitt AND also Dave Lyndsey. But Jackson picked Lowell George for slide and backup vocals on the album and that will never be equaled from this side of heaven.
