Sure, you get to feel a little bit validated about yourself and a bit better, but the underlying cause is still there which is opposite of what therapy does. This, is just enabling the behavior with a quick fix of dopamine to make it feel justified. Like I said, your priorities are skewed. If your "ex son" dipped, you should probably look inward and not bash your own child (grown or not) on social media. Obviously, youre hurt and that's fine (again, no context) but going about it like this wont do you any favors now or in the future.

THAT is what is validating, not what this or that person's opinion is to whatever i posted. it's also validating that there's already AUDIO that exists (eg, eminem) that express the very same emotions and/or experiences that i have such that i can lipsync to them. thats extremely validating. there's no quick lil dopamine fix as u think. its a much more long lasting therapy. 3, the underlying cause is that my ex-son is an extremely toxic manipulative person and there's tons to say ab that, but nothing i can do ab it from here except to try to stop him from instead of hiding, and keeping it all secret, which allows him to get awaywith all the toxic manip stuff he does, im choosing to talk ab all of it -- good or bad. and thats extremely liberating, and prevents me from having the typical trauma response of self-isolating. so u actually have no clue ab what ur talking ab. i cant fix other ppl and its not my job to. but i can try to fix and help myself, and this is one of the ways. you can hate on it if u want. it just makes me think im doing something right if u hate on it, and mb all i say here will even help others somehow if they feel as i do. 4, my priorities are ABSOLUTELY not skewed. ur opinion is skewed. 5, the things that my ex-son has done and said are, i think, terrible. i will say what i need to. its not ur problem. its time to stop coddling genz retards who are very shitty to ppl and think theyre immune to all judgment, and let them know that parents can be victims too -- esp if the person is a narc. i will speak ab it and make it all public. why? bc it actually targets the underlying CAUSE like u said: which means, this PREVENTS him from sending me toxic and manipulative messages bc HE KNOWS I WILL SHARE IT ALL AND MAKE IT PUBLIC. and narcs rly care ab their reputations.
