I too finished TWD when I got it on Netflix (US) I had dropped out in season 9, but couldn't remember it. We lost cable and AMC was not a tv antenna program sadly. I very much enjoyed TWD but, just like you I agree with your assessment. Season 1:Classic, absolutely one of the best Pilot episodes of a tv series. Frank Darabont was worth every penny. Season 2: Gets way too much hate. Tbh, on my rewatch I appreciated the character building so much more. Season 3: One of my faves by far. The Prison Era to me and intro to The Govenor is just amazing. The way one episode fully shows all sidesof him. *chefs kiss* also Michael Rooker's Merle death, I cried. Season 4: Slow start and way too familar now with Covid, tbh Hershel Greene on this show taught me about Elderberry and it definitely saved me from being ill for long. Also, Episode "A" with the throat bite/murder jacket POETRY. Season 5: Still a banger. From Terminus to the journey on the road to Alexandria. Just all the yes. Season 6: Loved most of it, especially Richonne becoming a pairing offically. Introduction of Jesus and Hilltop. And that last episode, I thought the Govenor's intro was brilliant, the whistling in the woods, Simon, all the cars headlights intro of Negan. Bravo. Truly GOAT'd. Season 7: I still have issues with some of 7, but throughly enjoyed it. Season 8: Dragged indeed, even without episodes being week to week, but still loved some episodes like"The Key" just for Rick and Negan being absolutely insane. Then again Negan telling Rick he failed as a father. He deserved all of it. Season 9: Actually really enjoyed it. Even if Rick wouldn't be seen again til The Ones Who Live. But I honestly really loved episodes like Scars which, Michonne's truama was shown as to why she closed Alexandria up after her backstabbing pal did all that. Also yes Alpha. One of the best female villans I've seen in a LONG time. Season 10: It was fun, but mainly great for Beta and Here's Negan. I still say "Diverged" was the WORST episode of ALL of TWD. Idk how much someone was paid for that episode but it was too much. Season 11: The Reapers could have been cool, they ruined it. Lance Hornsby is turning into very interesting and fascinating character... ruined him. The Commonwealth might have ties with ANOTHER community that might be mysterious..nah, fuck that lets show Eugene getting laid TWICE and have politcal protests be the focus. -.- season 11 could have been a crowning jewel of this series but all the ideas the writers have are half baked. I'm a HUGE TWD fan. Its my favorite show and my special interest, I don't regret watching all of it at all but man it also makes me frustrated. In seasons 10 and 11 there was SO much promise and I just felt like a teacher dealing with a student who HAS talent but no drive to use it. I will say this is even more so the feeling when it comes to Fear the walking Dead and even some episodes of the current spin offs. Still enjoyed them though and looking forward to the next seasons of Dead City and Daryl Dixon. Also, just a small note on why Jadis/Anne talks in that manner. You don't need to suffer though Word Beyond like I did, Jadis is talking with a CRM officer about trading Rick Grimes to them and then she mentions using special language dialect with her former group and that it made them more inclined to stick with her. So she just drew weirdos basically. And the Cookie Monster dialect apparently made them feel united to her.

"like a teacher dealing with a student who HAS talent but no drive to use it." <<<-- THIS!!!, totally agree with that, haha. I still enoyed it all the way through, but man was there some wasted opportunities. Good to know they have an explanation for the way Jadis speaks, but yeah I probably won't be watching The World Beyond, not any time soon at least, anyway... thanks for the info on that :)

Negan was amazing so bad bit so likeable then even more likeable with his redemption incredible character...it shows that no one is ever to far gone and can came back Negan is a testament to that wish the Governor had chosen that path .

I think to be fair, that was probably the point they were trying to make with Negan, I still kinda wish they kept him a full on bad guy though, but, oh well...He had an interesting story line when befriending Lydia, while plot to kill her mother..

@stevekook-xw3is8 күн бұрын
I like how you mentioned the ex military guys. While watching a review of the spin off walking dead the ones who live somebody mentioned these folks Rick and Nishone met in forest and wondering how these nubs survived for so long in the apocalipse. They were a shocker but ex military were something more. Should be armed to the teeth with higher class of armour with themselves. The Governor somehow had a tank. I imagine such group must carry itself at will through less zombie packed towns. I am not a fan of letting Negan live. Now his defeat was bulshido 101 for sure without a debate but letting him live is simply not feasable. This creates an unnecesary animosity with Glen's babe. Damn eh I forgot her name now.

Yeah, for sure.. it made little to no sense, Maggie didn't even let Gregory live 'cause he couldn't be trusted, and Negan was way worse.

Idk if it was because Rick was gone or what but it felt like they milked tf outta ts Edit: Take my shi with a grain of salt bc my fave villain on the series had to have been the Governor. it's not a bad movie. in fact the stop motion cain looks better than the cgi robots in modern movies. cgi robots are trash. A terminator movie will never be good ever again because they will ruin it with cgi terminators.That's what ruined terminator salvation
@HazesMovieRoom11 күн бұрын
I'd def take stop motion over most CGI heavy movies. CGI can look great in the moment, esp in at the cinema. But a year or 2 later most just look weird and cartoony. But no more good Terminator movies? .. I mean, you're probably right.. that said, I didn't mind Salvation too much, it did feel a little unnecessary though

The controls haven't changed, but what probably has changed 26 years later is the frame rate that you're experiencing the game as well as the mouse sensitivity with modern gaming mouse hardware Can recommend the Black Mesa remake. Now that you've replayed the original you can really appreciate the work the fans put into the remake

Black Mesa (the Half Life 1 mod, if you have Half Life 1 installed) brings Half Life 1 graphics into the 21st century. For Half Life 2, use "Half Life 2 Upgrade", by Source (I believe). Then, HL 2, episode 1 and HL 2, episode 2 are "new enough", so you can take it from there, and (having finished those), that will bring you up to date, with the "Where is Half Life 3 already?!" crowd, with the rest of us.

My only fave thing in this movie were poor Drew Barrymore, who is great in it, albeit briefly, of course, and Matt Lillard who is always great. He's the only one of the cast of possible killers who really puts you off the trail since he's a bit off, but he seems to be unlikely to be involved. Of course, we find out much later that that's not remotely the case. This movie also doesn't seem to realize that most of the past actual stupid slasher movies don't usually posit a dual duo of serial killer psychos. Or that was one of its "innovations," I guess. I still don't think it's that good.
