My ac blow air. Sometimes it’s blows ice cold air then goes but to just room temperature. Any suggestions? I have fill up the Freon already .

But do not remove the negative cable from the battery while the car is running, do it with ignition on only!..he forgot to say that. If you disconnect the negative cable while the car is running the alternator will throw like 18 V and can damage the computer.

To all watching this: The X5 drain tube is one piece. You can blow it out all you want if it's detached from the sunroof. Or if you blow it from up top just check with a bit of water that it's still attached after you are done. It is a sturdy friction fit, but why wait till the first storm to find out?

I absolutely agree. Faffed on the roof for hours trying to unclog the drain with various wires and mower lines with no luck. Spent 40 minutes dismantling the interior at a laisurely pace and gained perfect access to the sunroof drain to blow out and flush cleaning agent through. After putting it all together I noticed the drain on driver side wasn't too great an decided i could risk blowing it out from the sunroof hole first. Tested it with a bit of clean water and no leak on the interior, all was good. I suppose you can just take out the grab handle and snake a camera through the holes to check the drain is still attached if you want to go this route.

Looking at the comments, there are so many people saying different things and have a different interpretation of "AC NOT WORKING." Can you explain what exactly were your symptoms? ...is the AC Working but blowing hot air.. when you say NOT working..so people are thinking there is no air coming out of the vents when you turn it on, that's what Not working sounds like to me.

Tried to recharge my AC, and the low pressure valve read 95 PSI. The recommended range is like 30. Could this switch be the problem? Or is my compressor shot?

Thank you very much brother! It helped me a lot, I was in the same situation after removing my glove box and cleaning the air conditioning evaporator. I think it was a short circuit, but disconnecting the main battery worked to fix all the lights in my instrument cluster.
