Thank you for the strool along, if you had done this a little later in fall it would have been gorgeous because Oregon has a lot of trees.

I think the area should stay as a national park and no one should be allowed to go to the volcano.but they should try to vitalized spirit lake and the surrounding areas for public access.

mount hood might not be the most impressive mountain in the us in terms of height or prominence but i think ot might be the most aesthetically pleasing. reminds me of mount fuji a little

Hi👋 beautiful video. Do you know much about the trail and camping in that area? Was that a pit toilet? Permit and/ or bear canister required? Sorry so many questions 🤦‍♀️ looking for places to hike for an overnight. Route to get there. Thank you for any info you have❤️❤️❤️

Yes, plenty of open camping there. The trail also circles around the lake, with lots of camping spaces all around. And yes, that was a pit toilet. I've been there many times & the first I've seen that, so assuming it was installed recently! You do need a day permit (can purchase at trailhead) or annual NW forest pass to park in the lot ("Frog Lake snow park"). Just put "Frog Lake trailhead, Mt. Hood" into your GPS.No bear canisters required. Happy camping!

Pictures are great, but on a 3 day hike, I would have expected the video to be longer than 1.5 minutes.
