I haven't bought a console since the 80s, I bought a PS5 Slim two weeks ago, and the first thing I said was, where's the other controller❓️ All that money for one controller.

My problem is that it's the same price.

who cares !!!!! a PS5 is a PS5 , i don’t sit there and stare at my ps5 console , I play , and when im done i cover my ps5 slim with a dust cover anyhow . I can care less about having a slim or fat ps5 with or without the stand , i bought the $ 30.00 stand and a dust cover and a internal hard drive , who cares , my money , great investments .

I don't know why everybody's hatin on the PS5 slim I got one I bought fans for the back and it works a heck of a lot better than my PS4

Dude this take is so tired/weak straight up. Its a smaller console. It does the same thing as the previous version. This is how these things have worked since 1999. Look up the dimensions. Its smaller. This type of content makes the gaming internet annoying. Its a console redesign man. Its not supposed to change the game.

May I be a bit critical of your video and correct some mistakes? You stated that the original PS5 offered 825 GB of storage "aside from the installation of the software", and that they are now being dishonest for claiming that the New PS5 has 1GB, without including the amount that would be lost after installing the OS. On the Wikipedia page you have pulled up on your screen it states; "The internal storage of the PlayStation 5 is a custom-built 825 GB solid-state drive (667 GB available)" So there is no difference in marketing. The original PS5 was said to have 825 GB, but we actually got 667 GB. The new PS5 is stated to have 1TB, but we actually get around 842 GB. And keep in mind Sony do not call this model "Slim", unlike some previous PlayStation models that had that official designation in previous generations. It is a bit slimmer, but not enough to be called "Slim" presumably. As for "who asked for this?" (size reduction), the huge size of the original PS5 has been one of the most common complaints I've seen on Reddit, Resetera, etc over the years about the system itself. And I actually was waiting for a new PS5 revision that I hoped would be a a bit smaller to fit properly in my current setup. So any volume shrinkage is a positive imo. The new PS5 has been reduced in volume by more than 30%, and weight by 18% and 24% compared to the previous models. I would have liked to see it become even smaller, but I'll take it. I do agree that it doesn't make financial sense to buy the disc reader later. And not including the vertical stand was really ridiculous and cheap of them. As for the old PS5 model, I don't see them continuing production of it. They'll probably sell the last remaining stock and then phaze it out. This is probably partially why the OG model has been discounted lately in many areas.
