Whoever decided to build this city here was a genius. Huge fresh water lake, two rivers, fertile flat land with all the ecosystems, far from natural disasters and oceans. Basically its an oasis, paradise in the middle of the country

@TheTravelDocket Thankfully winter only last 2 months, January and February. Decembers are a mixed bag now. We've had a several 40s and 50s. It's only snowed once, barely

They close the road to Clingmans Dome (now named Kuwohi) usually from December to March to automobiles. So I rode my bicycle up to the summit. It's about a 7 mile slow ride up, but a really fast 7 miles back down.

way didn't you stop in East St.Louis Illinois? You drove right passed it when you crossed the bridge....scared of something? notice the difference?not keep heading west into St.Louis County, the conditions are night and day, because of separate governments. road conditions are night and night and day

Because of redlining, white flight and urban decay. This area is full of high violent crime. Most the office jobs and wealth are in Johnson county Kansas now where Overland Park is.
