i also dont see why u would go medium with this build.. but if u go medium, at least use the most u can.. this is not an ideal armor weight piece setup.. u could do multiple optimal setups still useing those medium artifact boots.. and still get 22,9 armor weight, hence more protection..

You don't have to use medium armor. I like to experiment and see what works. Medium bow isn't terrible and is actually a lot of fun staying alive more. Making you have a little more fun to make mistakes. I ran into someone who recognized me and said they are using the build in light. Which also works 💪 give it a try in any weight you like.

I also see your point with armor weight. I'm just using frigid dawn gear because of the illegal perk setup. And the fact that I can be tanks and run very fast is awesome. I really do appreciate the feedback and I do take all into consideration. There should be an update on all builds especially this one in the future. Thank you thank you for watching!

why thrust damage ring instead of lightning damage? kinda defeats the whole purpose of the boltcaster build, with lightning gems and lightning gem on rapier..to then take thrust damge ring..

@kyleswrath thanks man!! I wouldnt say im a cracked player but im average.tbh during the beta, everyone was using all kinds of weapon combinations which made me happy to see the meta was gone. But in time, I feel that the game will revert to that. Amazon will have to make some huge adjustments to pvp balance soon.

@@kyleswrath anywhere close to 2k - 3k. A heavy shot would be 3k - 5k. This is on some opponents who aren't lightning resisted.

I returned in new world a week ago and bow feels unplayable... I used to kill at least15-20 per opr . Now i barely kill 6-8. It just feels underwhelming.....

@nickolassiranidis107 I agree with you there. The constant nerfs in DoT effect, and the 14% decreased damage during pvp is terrible. The abilities used don't have enough utility to keep melee away from you. Evade shot is okay, but we need a second stun or stagger ability to help us. New builds to help out coming soon

@CRONKTEZ map expansions were i believe 3 locations if I'm mistaken. Brimstone sands, reekwater, and ebonscale. Rise of the angry earth dlc was placed over First Light and now they added to cutlas keys being the pvp zone. This is the only news we have regarding a change to an area since last year.

Yes, the lock on target system definitely brings a different and satisfying feel to the game. There are setting you may want to turn off like screen shake tho. But it's smooth. Everything is smooth

I think the way to go is void bows and void damage , this would let you use finisher as your 2nd weapon. (nice if they had a void bow artifact) not a lot of people spec to resist against it in PvP

To an extent I can agree that bow and lifetaker are a great combo to maximize damage which will be an upcoming video to hilight that build and playstyle since that and the one you see here are very different.

Light weight Electrified runeglass for 2% lightning damge x3 lightning harnessing There could be more damage if i had electrified runeglass for tumblers and x2 more lighning harnessing. Other than that, this is the maximum damage at base. Food buffs can be taken to enhance. Thanks everyone!

Btw, for the ring u could just use the Champions ring ... Perks are the same as that but for free. :) As a Bow player since day 1 of new world, i tested alot of diferent builds and i have to say that u wont do anything with that One to be honest. But if u enjoy it, thats what matters. 💪🏻

Awesome, yes I have champions ring but I don't have the chromatic seals to upgrade it yet. In your opinion, what build would be better for bow? I'd like to know your thoughts so that I may implement them in the next.

Nah winged boots very underrated especially for bow. Unfortunately, it’s a very tanky meta so feather or tumblers more common. But winged boots is a stronger alacrity and a mini natures. With all the cc in game it’s nice to have haste buffs over lapping to get near haste cap.

@@theGPC2funny how people still complain about bow, only thing broken about it is lawn chair heavy attacking but mage and musket way stronger. With how popular hachet and ig is now you just get outclassed. I think bow is fine cause I want it to be one of the few skilled weapons even though ppl still think it’s a top 5 wep when it’s arguably one of the worst.

Every one of my friends made me feel bad for not liking the game combat over action combat like New World, and I almost convinced myself that I was crazy for not liking it (I can't go back to tab target from early 2000's in a modern era game after playing so many action combat games, doesn't feel good for me), and not doing pvp because of that, and I love pvp in every game, it just doesn't feel fair for me on this game, but, I enjoyed the pve a lot, specially the tower where you figth bosses in single player, it's a beautiful game overall.

I agree with you on tab targeting in a moder gaming era, it doesnt sit well with me. I do prefer action based over this style like New World which i highlighted on this video. I agree with the pve aspect which is really fun especially the tower. It was very challenging.

Main build goes over my gear, the weapon mastery doesn't add all that much other than unbreakable focus, which I talk about once when demonstrating fortify. Super simple and not much added value I think.

To add. The next build im going over will be a speedy archer, which will require me to show my weapon mastery bc the mastery shows which perks require me to get that haste. But I hope that helps

Been testing this perk out a bit. Greatswords passive critical comeback and steadfast recovery both proc it. VG's orb and voidcaller. Supposedly the bile bomb with the heal from attacking target does also (haven't tested). I'm sure there is more but most reliable way is to add a single shirking heals to any build. Enjoy :)

They're different out there lol. All out here in US servers are all tanks, running around with spear, hatchet and firstaffs. So boring 😴
