Consider sweet sorghum as a feedstock too. Way less energy to bust up cellulose when sweet sorghum is cranking out 20+ Brix juices...

First rule of renewable fuel production is never touch foods, unlike are food waste. Anyway, corn residue can be used to make biomethane with which produce your own energy for the plant.

@arijit7129 that's just hardware, not shipping from (india/china) or installation and comissioning in USA, where some places may require Unionized labor (additional expense)

Corn is not for people now. I do hope when people starve more they'll remember who stole their food.

Grain corn makes up 99% of the U.S. corn crop. Most of the grain corn is fed to livestock and used to produce ethanol. Several byproducts of ethanol are also used to feed livestock. Sweet corn, which is the variety of corn we eat, makes up less than one percent of the corn grown in the U.S. coloradocorn.com/products/

How do I use corn oil for gasiline to put in my car.What else do I have to mix the corn oil with to make gas ?
@thecoloradocorn
@thecoloradocorn 5 жыл бұрын
Grain corn is used to make ethanol (grain alcohol) which is blended into 97% of the U.S. gas supply. Higher blends of ethanol like E15/Unleaded 88 can be used in cars 2001 and newer and E85 can be used in FlexFuel vehicles. For additional information go to growthenergy.org/fast-facts/
