Might I suggest getting her an AKC PAL number under the Kromfohrlander, a breed I introduced and founded in the USA. She looks just like a smooth kromi. The breed needs numbers for recognition and the CDC has just made it impossible to obtain any dogs under 6 mo old as of Aug 1. BTW, I worked 2 years full time as a volunteer at our high volume humane society when I was younger plus I did almost 15 years of australian cattle dog rescue after that. Thank you for giving this lovely a home!

they rescued a stray, looks like they are super nice to the dog, possibly a warm and loving home and all you said is "cruel" because of the way the dogs fly?

aren't you not really supposed to put dogs in the cargo because it's not pressurized?

It has to be pressurized for engineering reasons. The big concern would be rough handling, or poor climate control

There’s a compartment underneath that’s temperature controlled and pressurized.😊

Awww thats so cute! ❤ I also once was on a solo hike when a dog was following me for food, i gave her some food and then I thought that she will go away.. But she stayed with me till the end of my journey and even followed me to my hotel. And she protected my from stray dogs also. I still miss her, even though it was 8 years back... 😭😭

Adopting a rescue is a great feeling. Our guy we found abandoned on the riverbank and some kayakers helped him get onto our boat, a few weeks later after he was held for the standard period of time and the former owner never claimed him, we adopted him. He's a huge wolfdog and was very thin when found, doing much better now.
