But what you must also see is that, Death had to rid himself of fear to bring order. He could not dawdle around juggling 'what ifs' or doubting his abilities. Fear is so much more than being afraid. Its questioning all your actions. Its not being willing to step forward to a challenge. It is not seeing a clear picture. In a world where the witches were capable of destroying continents with a single spell he could waste time being fearful or anxious. And eight hundred years later, he relinquished his perfectionism, which was also necessary. Life itself is imperfect and it is those imperfections that allow changes to be made, questions to be asked and actions took t better the world. If one would be bothered by those imperfections, they'd be unable t see the beauty of the world and in humanity itself. Death is far more complex most will give him credit for. He was born to rule over the world with absolute order. A world were life actually holds little value and as such he is the judge, the jury, and, if needed, the executioner. While he was at fault for what Asura was and likely did not do much to help his son, he could not show leeway or be biased in anyway. Asura chose his path and Death had to deal with it accordingly.

@@diabloddrago655 True, Lord Death’s responsibility as the Great Old One of Order was to become the God of Absolute Order so as to better maintain the natural state of the world. However by Giving birth to Asura, he inexplicably allowed for a being on the same level of existence as him to come to fruition thus tipping the scales towards an equilibrium one step short of Madness and Chaos. True he sealed him away, however by the time Asura had become a Kishin, he had already transformed into a True God on the same level as Lord Death himself. Thus making it so that his existence was now a part of the same natural cycle Death was sworn to protect. What’s worse and even more horrifying, is that Lord Death left the world in the hands of his son Kid who despite having gained the power of a True God, was still inadequately unprepared to fight against Asura as he was but a fledgling Grim Reaper. Thus making it so that the only person who could possibly ever defeat or seal away Asura for good, would now be gone forever. Lord Death’s ‘death’ quite literally f*cked the whole world up, and who knows how long it will take before Kid learns to master the true power of a Death God and catch up to his father’s level. Asura truly has no equal or superior anymore. He may be trapped inside BREW’s black blood prison for now, but he’s never been more free than the current age in which the Soul Eater world leaves off on.

@@alirezaomrani7650 Very true. Asura was the embodiment f fear and fear can never be vanquished. Fear is need for survival and thus, perhaps Asura's birth was meant FOR the balance of the world. While Death needed for go his fears to control order, Asura became fear so that humans and beast would not act so carelessly with their lives. (Spoiler wanring for Fire Force) Up the first day of the New World creation after Shinra remade the world and created Death, people couldn't die. A man had his head popped off like a bottle cap and shrugged it off. And there lies a problem,if people cannot fear, they will act carelessly as if there are no consequences. That is why Asura couldn't be destroyed because you cannot destroy fear, just like you cannot erase anger knowledge or power. The madness is eternal because the world IS madness. There is even the theory that Death actually LET Asura become a kishin as to create a balance because if all the power was on their side, then the balance would tip. And as for Kid, Death tried t prepare him but the thing is that only one TRUE reaper can exist at a time. Meaning Asura never fully became a reaper before turning. But Death could only teach Kid so much, because once Kid became a full fledged reaper Death faded away into nothingness. Thankfully Kid took his responsibility without his perfectionist personality taking over. Or else the cycle would just continue anew.

There's more to be said about Asura's relation to Death than Asura himself. Asura was an overthinking loser.

@@uchihakiller201 seeing how the world is and how it was, the world is a place of madness and i end up getting caught in it (as fortold by my manga/graphic novel). when you discover the truth about the nature of mankind, it fills your mind with uncertainty and hopeless which can drive a soul to insanity or hopelessness. itachi along with the kishin and many other anime characters taught me more philosophy than the real world. then again, the writers of anime have their own way of philosophy. itachi is def in my top fav characters

Humans are uncertain creatures. To rule effectively is to be wary of all facets of humanity. Not an easy undertaking. There is some solace in knowing that civility is more the rule than the exception, at least in well governed areas.

The only thinking that Asura makes me do is think he's an overthinking loser and is only best represented in the light of Death's order.

@@amaas211 well fear is the ultimate weakness and bravery is the ultimate strength, it depends on if a person has enough courage and bravery to conquer their fears. However the mind and the heart are the most powerful tools a human can possess. Both possess a great deal of power which may tip on one side or the other. Think about people pleasing for instance, when a person has the fear of being seen as useless regardless on whether its real or imaginative, there are 3 solutions. 1) still cower in fear and keep repeating the same thing to expect a different result (which is the very definition of insanity) 2) have enough bravery to rid the shackles of people pleasing or 3) let hell break, give into insanity and madness to be free. The only difference between the last 2 is that one thinks rationally while the other doesnt. Afterall, the kishin is a fragment of deaths fears so of course it makes sense that he is fearful

When you think about it, Asura is just an over Thinker rather than a doer. If he had more experience with what he was afraid of he could've been more confident. Asura is a loser.
