西暦2007年10月に土6枠最後のアニメとして「ガンダムSEED Destiny」以来3年ぶりに制作､放映された「機動戦士ガンダム00(ダブルオー)」。　放映時の西暦2007年から丁度300年後の西暦2307年の地球を舞台に歪んだ世界をガンダムによって武力介入し､根絶していくという先行して現実で起こり得るであろう出来事に注目し､ガンダムシリーズにまた新たな新風を吹き込んだのである。　その後、翌年の西暦2008年10月からの土6の後継にあたる日5枠にてセカンドシーズン､西暦2010年の劇場版へと続くほどの非宇宙世紀ガンダムシリーズ屈指の人気作へと上り詰めた。

宇宙世紀やコズミック・イラではなく西暦を世界設定にして、戦争やテロにガンダムマイスターたちが戦争根絶のために戦力を行使するというのは斬新だったなぁ。

Some of it looks pretty lifelike, but the people look obviously fake and some of the environmental shots like the super tank rolling over the normal tank don't look lifelike at all.

My god. The level of detail put into the weaponry in these cinematics is unreal. Clips like 2:33 make this so believeable, like an actual future war that is brutally realistic instead of the overly dramatic plots you see in Call of Duty games. This is what I wanted from my futuristic war settings, not the typical content we receive.

The main thing that kills this game for me is the graphics and colors compared to AC 4A. ACV looks terrible and has a brown/orange paint job.

I miss this game so much. I almost wish fromsoft hadn't gotten so famous because we won't see another armored core...........How I wish they would give us one with all that new talent and money.....
