I was so excited until you pulled out canned pineapple & pepper flakes. I do not buy canned fruit or veggies. Canned is mushy. Buy a pineapple & cut it up! You'll never buy mush again. I use fresh jalapeño for jam/cooking.😊❤ Try it! Youll love it!

I don’t use jalapeño because it affects the color of my jams in the long run. But I appreciate the advice.

I have fresh pineapple I saved in my freezer. I want to make this jam. Did I miss when you added the pectin? Was the pectin powder in the sugar?

@terrim9323 I guess so. I added 1/3 cup pectin which is equivalent to one box of sure jell

Just want to say to people who have animals have babies on wood chips. Woodchips, especially cedar, I don't think are good for a bed to have babies in. In nature, animal moms don't have to clean woodchips off a baby. I know goats eat leaves and fresh grows from a bush or tree, but woodchips are a whole different thing. The oil in the cedar wood chips are so poisonous, that my little rat Da'Vinchie died from just breathing the vapor coming off it. Folks, just research it, before you use them as a birth bed. Poor goat had to lick it all up, but hey, live and learn. I hope mom and babies are ok and happy.

I appreciate your concern, these are all natural pine chips that the goats actually enjoy picking up chewing on as goats eat bark off trees. This pen is in a barn on a concrete slab…this was during an ice storm…that concrete slab would have been horrible for her and the babies to be on. Our goats are happy and healthy and well took care of. Mom and babies were and are just fine…all 3 kids grew up into beautiful big boys. We don’t use cedar due to the chemicals and oils in it. Again thank you for your concern

She's cross bred boer saanen goat.

No she is not. She is full blood 100% registered and dna through the ABGA Boer goat. I know the breeder and the parents to this goat.

She far from being a cross bred boer. We can provide pics of both parents of this doe. We can also provide her paper work where shes registered and DNA certified through the American Boer Goat Association. Thanks for the comment tho.

That's how our family rotates too. We've got three pastures the goats move through, and sometimes with the cows.
