Even with great service history, there's no guarantee. I have a 2017 Honda Ridgeline with 70k miles on it. I knew from the beginning that the 6 speed transmission isn't reliable. So I've done 6 oil changes on it instead of every 30k miles as per manufacturer recommendation. And just recently the tourqe converter went out. I was lucky to get Honda's extended warranty on that so they replaced it free of charge but if Honda came out with the 3rd gen my 17 would've been someone else's problem by now. Even with better than perfect service history.

IMO transmission fluid in real life has a break in period, it may have been over serviced? It's possible to over-baby the transmission, A little more throttle might decrease fuel economy/increase emissions but could give the transmission the firmer shifts it needs to live long.
