I love this album! I'd like to ask you something since you have this record. My Honky Chateâu doesn't sound as good as other Elton records I have, do you notice the same with yours? Mine sounds muffled and dull.

I got my 1970 copy today, I only knew 3 songs of the album but after listening I liked every song! Mine has a couple of strange noises on sixty years on, on that part where Elton sings senorita... doesn't have a single scratch anyways! What a fantastic vinyl you have there 😉

Yes it is indeed a good album. I give it a solid 9.5/10 this album is one of Elton’s best, there are the obvious songs that people will mention like your song and border song but as good as those ones are, the more underrated songs like sixty years on and first episode at hienton are very good, the greatest discovery, the king must die or the cage to me are highlights of the album. Overall the album is definitely one of if not the best Elton John album of all time. Although I haven’t played it a lot since this video since I have been collecting singles.

I'd recommend you to listen too, it's only Elton and his piano and the atmosphere is so dark and heavy and it brought me such a cold feeling... I'd say it's more intense. Also, I agree with you about these underrated songs, I think people listen mostly to the two big singles of this album while there is much more to explore.

If it’s the one on the Deluxe album of Elton John (1970) I have heard it and I love that demo. I also like the live version of the song aswell.

I think this is definitely one of his best songs. Elton’s early work from the early 70’s is so good.

Crazy awesome how they were able to get this into the game. Ofcourse it didn’t look the best but it was the first appearance, also the nameplate is still the old one but the arena was there regardless. This is the default Arena I have set for Exhibition in this game.
