Nice work.. It was nice to see you hang in there until tiger found a little more calm. I agree with you about doing a little more ground work before stepping on. Well done - keep the momentum coming.

great progress, perhaps the wind was spooking her a bit

How are you managing with the brain injury? Sorry you're American, you have special heads and don't need a helmet.

I am almost at that point with my mare , She has spooked a couple times introducing me to the ground which is much harder when you are 67 and not 20 ………I have yet to get her to move on. Just sitting on her are she move around on her own ……..I am going to try the ground cue by moving her hind around
@vincentvycetvАй бұрын
I hope you didn't get too badly hurt, these things can happen, good training and building a strong foundation helps extremely to reduce bad accidents but there's always that small chance. In the day 14 video with my girl she spooks a couple of times but thankfully the training helps bring her back and you can also see the massive change in her first spook and the second. Hope things go well with your one

thanks for the video, really enjoyed it . Great progress and really impressed that you didnt get cross when you ot bucked off, you just gave her a rub and got back on.
@vincentvycetvАй бұрын
@waltermartin3 thank you so much. I think the key is to go in knowing it could happen and understanding that the horse isn't doing it to be bad but in reaction to something you've done wrong

I wonder if it's the saddle squeaking that set her off. Lip it upside down and sprinkle some cornstarch between the different areas and that will diminish greatly

Hi I really like your kindness n love n respect ur showing Tiger. She has a wonderful funny character n she's absolutely beautiful. If you would like help you should try watching Steve Young Horsemanship he has video's on his you tube channel of siding up n also trailers aswell. She is lovely just wanting to please you. Also when you finish a task n it's left on a good note. You should try lowering her head as it relaxes them after a work session. I have learnt a great deal from Steve Young but it's just advice. I really like your bond with Tiger.
