Thank you Jock, kind of you to say so,. It was just one of those beautiful days. We (my wife and I) made friends with an Indian family enjoying the sunshine on the grass . They very kindly treated us to a 3 course Indian meal on the grass (!) along with some very nice Italian draught lager from the nearby pub, what a day.😋

Visited it just today and started talking to a man who said that it wouldn't be able to be refurbished 😔 but he's made good use out of it as he has justed filmed a scene from a show called "the bay" it the pool area

Interesting and thank you. My intention was to update it this year (2018) however my nearly new drone decided to go faulty the week before our annual pilgrimage (!) So, maybe next year......

that was great to see. What drone did you use? so did you make waypoints for the drone to fly itself and you just moved the camera? I am fairly local from Strines with my Phantom 3 :) Andy

ADMR1985 Hello Andy, I fly a Mavic Pro. For this flight I used the Litchi app, pre-programmed via the Litchi Hub on laptop. I find Litchi so much more versatile and user friendly than DJI GO4. In this instance yes I adjusted the camera angle manually.

Phantom 4 pro or Mavic Pro? , I live near this bypass and would be intrigued as to whether I could film this.

mark williams - l fly a Mavic Pro, as it happens, I like cycling so I can put the Mavic in my back pack and off I go - bliss. If you've got a P4 or a Mavic don't see why you couldn't do it. Pick your place carefully and a couple of spotters and off you go. I find getting the right wind and weather conditions is the most important thing so you can fly relaxed and get the right shots. Get your vid in soon before it opens to traffic.....good luck.

Thanks Tony, yes I've got a Mavic, been flying for about a year now, started with a P3S, I see you've flown at Torkington Park, I live near the Fiveways, can you still fly at Torky Park? , I'm hoping so :-)

+9999NitroRc Hey thanks Nitro, yes back there next July 2017, will definitely check it out. Not making excuses but it was quite breezy (out to sea!) so I was being very carefull - I never like flying downwind.....
