And why would you hold them to sun outside? Would be more useful to see an untreated window and then a couple different treated options to show benefits. We have no idea how much the normal window with standard e glass already blocks

What is the Temperature ..of the window from the inside of the home ...Then wha tis the temperature of the window with your film installed ....How does this match .. Solar Screens on the outside of your Windows .... ? Living in Florida East Coast Orlando Area

59 seconds into the video, you say that the top sample blocks 35% of heat, and the next one down block 49% of heat, and the bottom one blocks 60% of heat... then at 4:27 you review and give completely different answers, saying that the top one blocks 60% of heat, the next one down - 70% of heat, and the bottom one 75% of heat. So, am I missing something or....?

Is ceramic the only only one you can purchase to still be able to see out your windows from the inside at night? I had the mirror reflective added to a few windows in my house, but I can’t see out those windows now at night.

Blocking heat…. a lot is said about that. what about keeping in the heat in the winter, is there an insulation value?

Hello, I'd like to know what is the right way to install the film to reduce the heath, on the inside or the outside, specially if we're talking about skilights?

What do you recommend for reducing the most amount of heat without being reflective? We have a big window on our back side and on the other side is our porch. I'd prefer not to reflect all of that light back to the deck.

I prefer using pure white curtains it’s self because they reflect a lot of sunlight just like how the reflective films reflect a lot of sunlight and using reflective films could be hard to remove them for the winter. Unless if you live in the south, then you can use those reflective films for sure to keep them on and add the white curtains on the window to close the curtains to combine with that for it to be double the cooling affect 👍. And using very bright white roofs reflects a crazy amount of sunlight and it will really keep your house temperature down compared to a darker coloured roof.
@roostercogburn37712 ай бұрын
Glad you mentioned the roof! I see so many roof with black or dark shingles. My roof is a light tan colored tin. So much better than conventional!

DO NOT PUT TINT ON DOUBLE PANE WINDOWS, YOU WILL SEVERELY DIMINISH THE SEALS SERVICE LIFE!!
@oakmen46044 ай бұрын
Do you have a link to a source?
@mookm66394 ай бұрын
How? You’re not removing or altering the seal. You’re just putting the tint on the glass. Right?
@oakmen46044 ай бұрын
@@mookm6639 I'm really annoyed right now. The information confirming this are salesman who don't propose a solution other than to have a professional gauge the existing coating on your windows. Low-E vs window tint. Some are saying most homes have an argon injectes between the panes and it doesn't thermally expand. Others are saying it doesn't matter. Another person said they last up to 5 years and start to bubble, which is really annoying. I have 1 window with clear privacy film on it and that window has a big crack on the other side. That's how it was when I bought the house. Feel like I got no where on this.
@THISIT-rd7jm3 ай бұрын
@@mookm6639 When the film absorbs heat, as it should, the two panes trap the heat which prematurely degrades the seal. Some window manufacturers will void a warranty if you install an aftermarket film. Manufacturers sell windows with glass tinted for not that much $$ extra and it’s in the glass not a film that will eventually bubble and peel

Question, can these films be installed on the outside of the widow vs inside? Doubled paned windows seems would be better installed outside.
