I’ve owned two second gen Camaros, a 1972 and a 1978. I bought the 1978 Type LT when it was only 9 years old and the floor already had rust holes! Both quarter panels had already rusted out and been filled with bondo. Chevrolet did a shit job on these cars.

@Bigbadjohn1234 Hey, I'd find the best possible donor vehicle with lowish kms. Take your time, make small trimming when you're cutting up the donor vehicle to make sure you dont cut too much away. Make sure you get everything lined up before you start welding things back together.
