Awesome!! The whole vibe is too cool. Would have definitely guessed 80's.

So cool Bryan.😎 Do you remember the charity gangsters that would show up at restaurants with tommy guns and act like it was a stick up for donations? They had come by Penguin Isle several years in a row when I worked there. Good times. -Paul

I recognize those dinosaurs! They're from Dinamation International (which is sadly no longer with us, much like this Seaworld).
@pocket836 жыл бұрын
The comments on these SeaWorld videos are disgraceful. Try to think outside of your party. Sure, animal harm is bad. But SeaWorld is not the great evil that the anti-meat extremists would have you believe. In the time before the internet, for countless young people, this was THE way to raise awareness of (and instill a general love for) sea creatures that would otherwise seem as far off as the dinosaurs. Further, SeaWorld has changed with the times, and "mistreatment" has all but abated. SeaWorld's dolphin cove is not the *Taiji drive hunt* that many environmentalists pretend it to be. Trainers advocate hard in favor of the preservation and life quality of these animals: why else would they have that job? Of course, there is also an angry mob of idiots in the world who will readily exploit animals for profit/food/fun without even considering the ethics involved. But they are at least partially correct to point out that animals _are not_ humans, and so our obligation to them is secondary. Reducing, and eventually eliminating, animal cruelty is a wonderful goal, but it's not entirely realistic in today's world. Let's work our way towards that ideal, but in the meantime, let's not stone to death every gray area we might find unpalatable. It's counterproductive to be so hostile, especially while there _are_ improvements still being made.

You took the words right out of my mouth! I agree that we as a species still have a long way to go as far as putting an end to animal cruelty (as bleak as that sounds), but at least there are people in the world who know that we share this Earth with other fellow creatures, and we SHOULD work to protect them and treat them well (in captivity). Are the extreme anti-Seaworld people out there even aware that Seworld regularly participates in (and advocates for) wildlife conservation? Are they even aware that Seaworld parks have rescued and rehabilitated many a marine animal? Sure, one could make the argument that their treatment of killer whales alone is 'questionable (to say the least).' I personally have mixed feelings about that specific issue, but my main point is that Seaworld's critics I believe are missing the bigger picture about it.

mr had the best board for those waves. tour waves were almost always that bad, no wonder he won so many titles. everyone else in the 80s was on slow tri fins, or in cheynes case a slow single. twins are much faster and looser, no center fin drag
