Worst cops I've ever seen. Since when does spraying about 500+ people at Scope, or giving the parent of a 4 yr. old who was drawing on a sidewalk with chalk a citation for "defacing public property" qualify as "globally respected"? Norfolk cops are the worst.

Its funny how this was the best department in 2010 but now 2011 to present the Virginia Beach department is the best. To me Washington D.C. is the best

DAMN the Norfolk Police Dept!!! They are a bunch of LIARS and CROOKS!!!! The Norfolk City Manager got rid of ex. police chief Bruce Marquis to no fault of his own. For the death of a police recruit by the name of John Kohn... Then the 3 FLUNKIES under Marquis all got memory loss when it came time to deal with issues concerning how the man died... All 3 of them need to be doing 3 to 5 in the STATE PEN with Big Bertha and Tyrone..... I hope all 3 of them ROT

You’re absolutely right Harley; police officers do not get paid enough for the amount of responsibility they have to assume. And it takes extraordinary courage and skill to be a good peace officer. So when a "cop" risks his life to save or protect another (let's say you, "BUCKSHOTBLACK00” for example) he is rightfully treated as a hero. Proud wifey of a Norfolk police officer! 
