@@travismarshall4937 so i figured it out with a bit of playing around :D I used: 2set ele, 2 set resto, wg shoulders with haste, pve cloak haste/hit, pve boots haste/crit, pve hc belt haste mp5, pve shield, you need blacksmithing to get extra sockets and JC for 3x resi gems, all your gems are basically resi, only 1x 10 all stats and 1x sp+resi. feels great :D

Nice video, strange to see that you are not casting at all at the beginning of the first arena. Can you tell me what was your strategy here? What were u going for? I can see that you are focused on interuptting the enemy ele.

Shamans are huge utility pieces in an arena. It much more important to stop casts, cycle totems and play off the UA lock. The UA lock is going to out damage a shaman over the course of the arena. The shaman then once there is pressure on the enemy team provide that burst to secure a kill. Its similar to Ele shaman, War, Druid. Where the warrior applys pressure and MS then the shaman can burst for the kill.

But this is not PvE. Purging Kings, Freedom, Protection, Sacred Shield, Beacon of Light killing enemy totems etc. helps his warrior to stay on target and do damage and keep up Mortal Strike, and his paladin for support. Which is way more important than doing damage. Ele shamans are bursty anyway so timing is more important in this situation than sustained dmg.
