Nice boxes, love the presentation and scratch cards but postage to UK makes them not very worthwhile as it's a big box run and odds are very small to get a hit even though the hits are awesome

Yeah I agree! I get them via MyUS shipping so it’s not too bad! But yeah they are a cool company, but the odds as you said are extremely low of actually getting anything from the picture! 🙈

I recently got a totsiverse mystery box which was 39.99 plus postage for the funko camp days and I thought it comes with two funko pops to my disappointment it had one and a soda pop which I absolutely don’t care about 😢

Yeah that’s pretty poor, what was the pop you got? I imagine it would have been at least a £30 pop right? I’ve definitely gone off Toysiverse mystery boxes. I’ve purchased a lot of boxes from them and have never got anything that cool - It’s mainly been new ‘filler’ stock which isn’t that desirable, even at the TPD values suggested for them. Which always depreciate in value pretty quickly. That’s why I use actual collections for my stock, because it’s always pops that people are actively buying, provides a great selection of older and newer pops and I don’t have anywhere near as many boxes, so you get a great chance at pulling the top hits!

I like the Popcultcha mystery boxes but as someone else, they’re mainly filled with a load of stock they can’t usually move. They’re not as popular here in Australia as the much as the overseas customers

Yeah I do agree and can understand why collectors of multiple years don’t like them. I just like the amount of value you get for them, and for any new collectors out there they provide great value when starting out!

I've bought a few of these, I think the idea of what they've created is great, the design of the box, the scratchcard & online shop, pops being in protector, the sweets...I just wish they could guarantee a minimum value. I love mystery boxes, in a weird way they remind me of a christmas stocking, the anticipation of not knowing what's in there, hoping its something you like etc. Those 2 pops are disappointing though 😕

I totally agree! I loved the overall production of the mystery boxes and did check out the shop afterwards, it’s a cool idea with the tokens. But yeah, some guarantee with the value would go a long way, especially seeing how many boxes they sell they are definitely able to do it and still make a lot of money doing so.

Most the time their boxes are commons but you can hit the big stuff. We have won a few good things. Won a Trix Rabbit $70, SweetTooth $70, and Lion-O worth $550 plus a few $40-$50 pops. We have posted videos of our box openings.

That’s awesome! 😍 But yeah I understand they are a legit and reputable company, and I’m happy to run the risk at getting commons for the chance at getting something big! That’s the whole point of mystery boxes imo I’ll definitely order from them more after hearing the good reviews on them! 👌🏻

@@GrailGeek I'm not sure why but sometimes ordering 1 or 2 and then going back and ordering 1 or 2 later seems to give better odds. We done that at times. Love the special boxes they offer on Thursday. I hope you get something good on your next one! We love your videos.

Not very good pops at all value wise. The main issue for me with boxes like these is the postage as it adds a lot to the total cost so very hard to break even unless you get a top hit.

Yeah I think that’s partly my issue on them, you pay quite a lot just to get $5 pops. I would like at least some guarantee on value or cheaper shipping. But the chance to get crazy top hits does make it worth it, I guess I’ll just have to keep trying until I do get a top hit 😂

Mate, just check the inside of your boxes, because Sam and Buzz are Funko Shop exclusives and Popcultcha have been putting a Funko Shop sticker in the boxes because they receive them with the special edition sticker and give you the option of replacing them to a correct sticker…🙂👍🇦🇺

Ok I do love mystery boxes … but am I being just cynical here ..boxes like these that show possible top hits . How do we know those ever make it into any boxes? At times I feel like wheh I was a kid at the claw grabber game .. the prizes you could never win.

I think if companies don’t actually give out the top hits they would get found out fairly quickly, I always hope people reshare to social media if they get a top hit from one of my own boxes, to almost validate the runs in a way. But maybe just stay clear of any startup businesses or companies that aren’t credible yet.
