This is a run killer for me, I get to the wrench climb but it won't grab the side gray wall and I plumit to my doom the last ramp is super finicky too I HATE this level with a passion

@amyhill1894 now that I practiced the big issue is making sure to not hit the ceiling when wrench climbing, stay below it and climb on the other side of the wall. Them when at the end, charge up against the slope and you did it

@Alex-ex8ob I actually just first person wall climbed up the crates in the warehouse until I got to the elevator. Your tutorials were amazing btw, I'm really rusty as I'm just starting, but I got the really difficult wrench climb and levatator skip in the Aranos escape. I was so excited when I double jump hyperstriked to get the cutscene trigger! I still need clank though, not able to lag jump or any of that fast movement yet

@@marcoscabezolajr.8408 don't get clank, it's not worth the effort to go through endako just for him. Lag jumps are some of the easiest movement, if you follow the tutorial closely you can do it in no time.

@Alex-ex8ob I try canceling and side flips but I stop in place instead, in mid air it's even worse, I can't get a grounded position in the air to sideflip or anything, I feel I'm just not good enough that this is stuff I simply am incapable of doing. Plus the constant fear of just falling and restarting over and over, boldan skip took me 30 tries to do, even though i pulled it off two days ago in over 45 tries in after doing it at the same part of the wall charging from the fountain but I never clip in.. it feels like luck, very difficult luck. Over 75 tries and only got 5 that is horrible.

@@marcoscabezolajr.8408 Boldan clip on PS3 is a bit difficult. Focus on setting it up as opposed to speed. As for movement, join the ratchet and clank speedrun discord and post some clips there.

Hey, cool video. I was just wondering if this trick was doable on every console ? I am on PS2 Pal and I know some tricks can be quite limited and don’t want to try to learn this trick if it is not possible for my console.

It's most likely possible, but no one plays PAL PS2 since it's the worst version of the game (slow loads and slow charge boots)

What I found funny is that your PS3 was in Portuguese from Brazil! But, nice run, 20 minutes is pretty quick

Actually my PS3 is in spanish, I have it set to thag simply out of choice, although I do speak a bit of brazilian portuguese. The game itself is set to Italian, because there's a skip that only works on German/Spanish, but in this category I don't want to trigger it so I intentionally played on a language where that skip was impossible. As for the run, yes 20 minutes is fast. This run is 3rd place and it could have been sub 20 if it wasn't for mission 5. I don't think I'll attempt sub 20 because this run was very good. I'm overall happy with it.

@@Italo-vlg Thanks, I don't know if it's actually possible to beat 2nd place with these strats, but I don't feel like trying. This run is more than enough for me to be happy for a while. I'm sure I'll come back to beat it someday.

At the time of this video being made, there was an issue with the button to set up some of these where it didn't work for some people.

That's a really cool strat for Koros. It will help me avoid learning proxies for even longer! Edit: for anyone who wants to know, the trick is to hold left for ~0.5 seconds when you do the turret jump. Now you don't have to fumble around like a dummy for an hour like me :)
