I'm a first timer playing PoE, never touched PoE 1 and hopped on PoE2 now and I gotta say, I havent looked at a build just explored everything myself. I am doing Tier16 maps after 2 days lvl90 monk 1 shotting everything, with my own build. PPL say the "skill tree" is so cool etc, haha lmao the skill tree isn't hard at all, it's a false huge tree that makes ppl think the game is complicated. However tho I enjoy the genre, hack N Slash ARPG's played, as all ARPGS; Search for items, go back 2 town, sort it, and go out and SLASH. :D

Idk why you're so hateful, but there's certainly a reason in your words. Yeah, community do overcomplicate a lot of things and can mislead you. And also you understand the progression better, than half of the constantly whining crowd. It is "check your vendors, salvage loot", really. Only thing you got wrong is: no, you can go to the other side of the tree eventually (in poe 1 there was at least one meta build around it) For me, poe is a game about cool character concepts. You ignite mob, start burning yourself from that fire and spread it on anyone coming too close. Or you curse mobs so hard - they start to explode. Also a game with cool economy, cause I enjoy playing with market in MMO. Yeah, I'm so bad in any PvP, that a literal toddler can wipe the floor with me. But I'm happy clicking the nearest "increase damage" node on my skill tree P.S. Just put a sock over a mic bro, I'm begging, my ears are ringing

I’m newer to the game and flat gear was the most fun I had. I kept hearing get gud but when the gear score flattened out all these hardcore players suddenly were getting stomped. But fine I guess I’ll turn my brain off and scroll the market for 30 min to get epic gear bc that’s so much “fun”

Yep, they listened to toxic community who tried to ruin the game instead keeping the people who like devs ideas and loved the game. Sadly now this game is dead and they lost both of the communities they had. I personally cant see much potential in this game anymore. Even if they keep going with the original idea they will reverse it asap when one streamer starts to cry about it with his simps. They should just show the middle finger to the toxic community who tried to kill the gaame that they "loved so much". They wont stay here even if they keep listening to them. They are never satisfied, they are made to cry about everything.
