It's not as easy as they show it to be it's a pain in the butt you can't turn the filter because the inner center piece rotates

What if the panel lights don't work after replacing the water filter.

Any tips on leaks coming directly from the filters? Having trouble after simply tightening the white 'cases'. Seems like the gaskets aren't sealing correctly and have to repeatedly unscrew them. Thank you.

It takes a monumental amount of downward force after twisting to pop the old filter out. Make sure to support the bracket with your other hand so you don't accidentally rip it off.

*****Heads Up**** When changing filter you might have to remove the shelf. So the filter fully comes down. Otherwise it will not release filter. Once it is fully down, it comes out without any issue, it does not need to be forced out. Just has to be fully down, and out it comes. Once changed follow the directions of getting the air out. Air came out of the water spout. Glad I followed the rest of the instructions. Thank you for making this video, it is so much very appreciated.

Our Samsung had great water flow and one day stopped flowing well. We replaced the water filter and for a brief second the flow was back but then went back to low flow with a new filter. There has to be another issue, I read about thew water line could possibly be partially frozen in the fridge as well as some people reporting the O rings on the filter were causing low flow (don't know how that is possible). I removed my filter again and did my best to realign it and lock it and the water flow came back fully.

Was it squeaking is that how you knew to replace it?

I have been trying to prime the filter as shown. After 15 minutes, the filter is still not sweating as shown as in the video. How is it supposed to take? A google search said it should take 3 to 4 minutes. Any advice as to what I am doing wrong?
