@Tiki Den, If it was a concert flea, the size of the body (volume) of the instrument should increase. The instrument was sold to me as a flea with a concert scale fretboard 7 years ago or so. I have traded the Koaloha in the meantime for a Baritone uke (Pono in Mango wood.) FWIW, the Bruko (roundback maple) has the most presence, the Flea is very handy with a fair sound. 3 Baritones and 2 longneck soprano ukuleles. To be continued. . . . . .

As the flea uses theme body size for both soprano and concert necks, isn't this just a concert flea as I see no long neck soprano option listed on the Magic Fluke Co. Website?

Yes I paid more for the Flea as it has a Koa sound board, a Walnut neck with Rosewood fretboard, and a pick up added to it, which costs more. The Koaloha was sold to me as a second from MGM, as it had a tiny blemish. The fretboard on this Flea joins the body on the 13th fret, and on a standard Flea it is noticeably shorter.

You paid more for the flea than the Koaloha? How can this be?? Would you call the flea a 'longneck'? Looks like 12, maybe 13 frets before the join....

In terms of expense, the Flea was the most expensive, followed by the Koaloha, and the Bruko. The Koaloha the thinnest, and Bruko the loudest. The best neck is on the Flea.

The first 2 ukes sounded much more clean than the last one. Thanks for the review! :)
