A beautiful well made clip of a dance hall I knew right well. In fact I remember when Brendan Boyer & The Royal Showband played in Paddy Cons. The tickets used to go on sale in early afternoon and we're all sold out in an hour or so...The big bands used to attract massive crowds there. It was a luxury ballroom compared to most of the other hay barns that were used for dancing.

Fond Memories held by my parents Michael and Pearl Brooks of the dances at Paddy Cons. Always talked about the beautiful dance floor and of the great Mick Delahunty and his Orchestra from Tipperary. They became great friends. When people knew how to dance and appreciate the fine musicans/bands that played their. Joe Loss and his Orchestra, Victor Sylvester, Mick Delahunty to mention a few!!❤❤❤

One thing that strikes me, as a drummer that can't do his thing anymore, the good thing about lying on my back drinking wine during lockdown is that I occasionally come across a decent band on KZbin. Bloody ell, Sons of Southern Ulster, take a bow. Brilliant stuff and I will make a point of trying to watch you live when all this is over. Cracking 👍

Great documentary. Very insightful and informative. Aaron Davis is clearly a very talented man, creating the entire documentary and also providing a sophisticated voice over.

A wake up call for us all. The pressures on people today are enormous and some of us feel we can't handle our own particular burden, so to have The Guardians giving their time to help such people is a wonderful thing. Fantastic and deeply moving piece of video. You are amazing.
