What do I do if the leg keeps coming loose?Does that mean the bottom bracket is stripped or the bolt
@nickkarpov45434 ай бұрын
For anyone who needs to replace the bearings - you will need 4 x LM30UU bearings for the machine.

Good video but there is a bit more you should do. There is a nut that holds that bolt in place on the inside of the clutch housing. When he takes the bolt out, the nut falls loose. You can see it in the video just as he removes the drive strap. It is the shiny item in the gap between the belt wheel and the clutch housing. While the strap may stay in place without the nut, you don't want to leave that nut floating around in that housing. It may interfere with the one way bearing or at a minimum clank around when you are using your rowing machine. To get in there and put the nut back on the belt or to clean the bearing, you need to remove the two phillips screws near the 4 mm drive belt bolt that was removed. Once those screws are out, you can take off the shaft cover that they held on. This cover may be stuck a bit. You can tap it lightly with a hammer. It takes a bit of force to remove it (it gets stuck), but the screws are all that hold it in place. Underneath you will find a retaining clamp. You will need a pair of special retaining clamp pliers to remove. I bought one for $15 at our local Farm & Fleet. Remove that clamp and the bearing plastic clutch housing will slide off exposing the bearing and the other side of the drive strap. You can now properly put the nut on the strap. Also a good idea to clean up the bearing and try to get some fresh automotive grease in there. I found the service people at Bodycraft are top notch folks. They are very kind and helpful.

The lat cable and the leg press cable on My XPress pro keep twisting bad, making the pulley housing to twist and be off centered - when I unscrew the cable at the weight stack, as soon as it completely unscrewed the cables twist and ravel so bad that the housing unit does 4 or 5 360° spins. Any suggestions?

If the top plate is off the weights which way do I move the wheels on the double pulley block?
@RickPerez-j3m11 ай бұрын
Hi Kyle, You either move the pulley wheel down one hole or you back off the cable bolt as shown in the video

I’m having issues while putting mine together. I’m on step 10 and the instructions say it should slide with one finger and mine only goes up since I connected the bolts on the first cables. I have to push the weight down pretty hard to slide down. Not sure what went wrong between step 6 and 7.

Box News, The crank arm is pressured on and the only way you can get it out is with the crank puller. You definitely have to put a little strength into it but it will come loose.

I'me having some issue with my brand new XFT. I did exactly like this video but the collumn stay stiff and doesn't move at all. Moving the chariot is a bit hard and I'm pretty sure there is an issue. other question is if we should lubricate the pulleys/cable or no.

My VR200 lost all resistance on the pull stroke, but not all the time. The spring/clutch mechanism seems to retract the cord still but I fly backwards when I lose resistance. I think that’s probably not the spring clutch assembly but the, what I’m assuming, is some kind of pawl mechanism is the assembly with the belt in it? Any suggestions? Should I get part 136a or 139a on the parts list? When I hand rotate the assembly it seems to be fine and only allows for rotation in one direction as it should.

What type of grease/lubricant should be used for the bearings please.
@bodycraftservice86733 жыл бұрын
Hello! The bearings are lubricated and sealed and do not need to be lubricated. You can use 100% Silicone spray on all of the guide rods as general maintenance. If you have any further questions please contact [email protected]. Thank you!

@@bodycraftservice8673 Thanks for replying. The linear bearings are also sealed?
@bodycraftservice86733 жыл бұрын
@@whitefordblueclark77 Here is more info from our top tech - We recommend a light coat of lithium or synthetic grease. There are some silicone lubes that may be OK, but some will gum up which is why we say to generally stay away from them when it comes to linear bearings. We use silicone for the weight stack guide rods, but no more than twice a year. Lithium greases are available at most auto parts stores and Superlube is one of the best brands available for synthetic greases.

You shouldn't beat inner race of the bearing because you can cause balls damage. Proper approach is to push outer race using threaded rod with nuts and wide washers / old bearings or hydraulic press.
@BODYCRAFTFITNESS5 жыл бұрын
This is correct. You could damage the balls of the bearing by doing this. However, in this video we are showing how to replace the bearing. Not to reuse it.
