I was one of the missionaries that got to have Sunday lunch at the Swartzberg’s way back in 1990. I hadn’t thought about Brother Swartzberg in many years but was reading 2 Nephi 25:16 this morning and it reminded me of him. I was recounting my brief time in the their ward and home to my wife. The lunches were legendary! I had assumed he must have passed years ago but my wife googled him and found this link to his memorial… which I enjoyed watching. It is heartwarming to see a life so well lived to be remembered by those that loved him. My prayers are for those who will miss him. I have every confidence he has now entered into his eternal reward and is happily preparing for his family to be with him eventually.
