Siesta is origin in a Italian word "Sesta" and practice more abroad Spain than Spain the " Siesta" is in south Europe on Mediterranean to midle east the universalitation of Hispanic culture on the world equal or more Italian culture for Hispanic America it makes you think that we all take a nap in Spain and xenophobic stereotypes for lazyness of Spaniards

I notice when I was in Spain, the things the Muslims built in Spain was full of Muslims and anything that was Christian you wouldn’t see a Muslim soul. Very unusual

@@malvarez8484Muslims only care about Islam, only time they care about Christian churches or locations is to take it over like they did in Hispanía. The Cathedral-Mosque of Córdoba was originally a Visigothic Christian church dedicated to Saint Vincent of Saragossa.

You need to be smart about choosing days to visit such places. I assume you went there during a Sri Lankan holiday, if not at least during a weekend. When I visited there during a week day, there wasn't even the fifth of this crowd, no queues at all.

one of the biggest mistake tourist does is just climb up the sigiriya. Sigiriya is an ancient engineering marvel. you have so many to see surrounding the path. Explore them. Otherwise there's no different from Pidurangala

You drove by the old city of Dokkum when you went to national park Lauwersmeer/Waddenzee. Much nicer city then Leeuwarden.

Hi. We Spaniards are not Caribbean. We also have an excellent repertoire of medieval and Renaissance baroque music, but unfortunately it is unknown to the average Anglo-Saxon tourist. Lunchtime is our main meal. In summer, with 40 degrees Celsius, it is better to be at home. Not all of us are taking a siesta, but we are protecting ourselves from the heat and high temperatures. Many of us are a little tired of ridiculous cultural stereotypes.

Iam Spanish and Valencian with you and no práctica more siesta in Spain only práctice "siesta " in vast part the childrens or old persons at the máximum in hollydays you explication is a stupidity in cities in Spain and localities with less inhabitants in work horary how many people take a " siesta" with the foreigner Spanish stereotype say absolutly all and all.days inclusivelly in.work days

Well, surely it´s crowded since you have been in the tourist bubble. But on the other hand these are the most famous spots in Vienna. I recommend a second visit in the summer, because the experience is totally different. And it will be even more crowded (The city of Vienna made over 1,5 billion Euros in 2023)
