Great song choice. Paycheck's work in the 60's is as good as it gets.

This was the first time I was able to see Charley's final appearance/performance. It brought me to tears. This amazing man, despite his physical problems, and age, his voice is still amazing and his personality is still so humble and endearing. He will NEVER be forgotten --- he is truly a legend in his own time.

Good shit. Saw him at the Hard Rock Cafe in Biloxi. Broke out the fiddle and wahwah peddle for the hotel California solo. It was amazing.

I am thrilled to see this venue located in Meridian. The state has always had an abundance of extremely talented individuals and bands. Naturally Sela has always been my favorite actress. Elvis will always be the king of rock & roll and my all time favorite entertainer. The late, great Paul Davis from down home Meridian MS. Charley Pride from Sledge MS, the first black country music legend. Tammy Wynette, the first lady of country music from Tremont MS.. The very beautiful Bobby Gentry from the MS delta in Chickasaw County MS. The beautiful Faith Hill from Star MS. The great Conway Twitty, a legend in country music was from Friars Point MS. I'll stop with one of my favorites, the greatest Parrot head ever, the fabulous Jimmy Buffet is from a town not far from my home now, Pascagoula MS. One of the greatest studio bassist ever, the late, great Chris Ethridge played with most of the great rock and country musicians of our time was from Meridian MS. Tennessee Williams the great playwright was from Columbus MS. Oprah Winfrey the most famous talk show host of all time was from Kosciusko MS. The great actor James Earl Jones was from Arkabutla MS. The great Nobel Prize winning Author William Faulkner was from New Albany MS. The list goes on and on. One more thing, the local talent in Meridian is phenomenal.
