You know, i was thinking about cryptids and weather or not they exist. All the videos of paranormal activity ufo and monsters are always grainy or blury and have ridiculously obviously ominous soundtracks put to them. So I've come to the conclusion that All this stuff is clearly made to scare people. The Internet has an abundance of independent horror movie makers that's all it is. Think about it, i came from the time of the internet and back then people told scary stories and then the Internet came along and creepy pasta and people were able to evolve the scary stories into visually scary stories. There are some very strange and real videos of stuff and real creepy stories but they are lost in a cosmos of fake hoaxes. Show me a video of Bigfoot just approaching someones camp by accident in broard daylight with a new clear recording camra. Instead of a supposed big hairy creature (costume puppet or weak cgi) in a fuckin cage raging and trying to get out and the sucker has this moody aggressive music to really make you realize how fake it is. Nope because it's gotta be BS Right? If There was a species of creatures we did not know about and the government didn't want us to know existed or captured organics that are not human then i can understand why you wouldn't find the truth on Google or KZbin and stuff. But why hasn't one of these "absolute badass killers" or incomprehensibly rich overlords from the dark web found a living cryptid and posted that huh? Why hasn't anyone snuck into Antarctica and filmed all the super sketchy stuff our governments are hiding from us and just uploaded it to the dark web? i grew up less than a mile from overbrook. it closed when i was four, however the site was neglected for years and became housing for many of the homeless. curious children and teens would often break in however, which led to even more sad stories as a result of these confrontations. the buildings were finally destroyed in 2018 and there’s a couple of new elderly homes nearby.
