Don't know what worked but wanted to share what I did to get some relief. I squatted for 5 minutes (look up Asian squat on YT), I drunk 2 large shots of 100% organic cherry juice, I pinched up the skin in between the big toe for over a minute (read it from someone's post below 👇), I took 300 mg of *mega food magnesium/ blood builder supplement, I massaged my legs with Vicks vapor rub. I know it's a lot but I'm able to sleep now and wanted to share in hopes that it'll bring some relief to someone else. Good luck 🤞

Try a tsp of just regular prepared mustard immediately when the cramp starts. Use Theraworx before bed on the worst areas, and again if you get a cramp. Heat especially moist heat and walk it out if you can. Had cramps all my life but these are not the cramps of my youth...excruciating !!

If you are going to say to put a bar of soap under your sheet for the magnesium, I have done that and it did not help me at all. Give me something else to try. Please. No more jokes please.

I have had restless leg syndrome since I got pregnant at age 18. I also have degenerative disk disease & herniated disk for as long as I can remember. I’ve got some ruptured disk as well and had to have spine surgery in 2004 when I was 35. But that was a big fail. They’ve tried everything available from steroid injections, physical therapy, dye put in the nerves, spinal ablation surgery. I’ve also had a neuro-stimulator put in and then it moved around in there and vibrating in my stomach so they had to go back in and move it back but that didn’t work either so they eventually had to go back in and take it out. Honestly I’ve had so many things done to my back & spine that I can’t even remember them all until I look at my records or ask my Drs. But the pain I have in my legs is so intense and horrible when I sit still, try to sleep or even ride in a car. that now I’m on morphine to be able to get any sleep but even taking up to 3 doses in an 10 hour time frame, I still can’t get the pain to ease off most nights. I have this RLS almost every night and I usually only get about 1-3 hours of sleep before I have to get up and just to get that much sleep I’m usually standing on the side of my bed, bending over at the waist and laying my head and upper body on the bed trying to get sleep but keeping pressure on my legs so they don’t kick & jerk like they do. I’m so exhausted all the time and I can’t get anything done due to exhaustion & having no energy and I have no real quality of life. If I sit down during the day my legs start tingling and twitching to where I have to get up. I can’t rest during the day because of the tingling, itchy, jerking & twitching. So I’m always trying to figure out what to try or do about it. I’ve been on all kinds of medication that I just want to find the answer or find something that helps me. If you know anything about strong narcotics like methadone, morphine & roxycodone, then you know the side effects are horrible!! In the last 2 weeks I have started taking Restful Leg PM and it has actually started to work. So it helps your legs stop jerking and tingling and it helps you fall asleep but for me I’m awake again before the hour is up. But I didn’t realize you can take 3 or 4 of them and that’s what I’ve started doing, and it’s working! I know a few people who this works great for so I was hoping that it would be the miracle cure for me too. But because all the back problems that I have, I’ll probably still be taking strong narcotics when I die and me being on morphine, I’ll probably die way before my time. If you are interested in trying the Restful Legs PM, I can give you the link I have. It does work and it’s not expensive but because my RLS is so bad, I have to take 3-4 at a time. There are just a few fantastic reviews shy of 20,000 with a rating of 4.3 stars. I will not take anything without researching and reading the reviews first. I hope this helps someone else who suffers from this horrific disease. I’m praying everyday that someone finds a cure for all of us who suffer from RLS. If you want to read the reviews, here’s my affiliate link. amzn.to/3YZnCK3 I also started taking magnesium glycinate. Here’s my affiliate link to that. amzn.to/4ekFhA5

The first 4 symptoms can be measured in a sleep study. They can objectively measure this over a single overnight sleep study. I also was on pregabalin, which was prescribed coming off oxycontin for my compressed L5S1, which induced neurological sciatica and severe pain. What a ride. Also, be careful with iron. Low iron is often listed with RLS, however I have zero iron load issues but >950 measured ferritin. I'm soon into some phlebotomy for up to 6 months to reduce this. But Lyrica (see drugs before) did wonders for me dealing with coming off dopamine situations.

I learned to do 4 things, from my father, before bed to greatly reduce very serious painful night quadriceps cramps. 1. Stay hydrated = drink electrolytes 2. Eat a pickle - soaked of course in pickle juice 3. Drink a glass of Tonic Water with Quinine 4. Stretch before bed. ~ Stay Safe out there folks ~ Peace & Health to Us All.

It's interesting because when I was 17 years old, I measured in at 187 cm, or just a hair under 6'2. About a year to a year and a half latter, my doctor told me that I had grew and I was now 191 cm, or roughly a quarter of an inch above 6'3. And throughout my life, I always thought I was 6'3. However, the other day, for the first time in 27 years, I measured my height(bare foot, flat against the wall, looking straight) and it tuned out a height of 194 cm in the morning(about 6'4 1/2) and 192.5 cm or just a quarter inch under 6'4, at night. Because I couldn't believe this result, I checked to see if the height measurement on the wall was correct and it was. I also checked to see if I was cheating by lifting my head or heels and I was not. I repeated the experiment for 30 days, and it checked. So I had a doctor during a physical check it, and it confirmed 193 cm(6'4) at 5:00 P.M when I had the physical. So, apparently, I am a full inch taller as a middle-aged man 45 year-old than I was at 18. What the doctor told me is that, even though most men are completely done growing by 18, some continue until they are 22-23. It's rare, but it happens. And over the years, every time I told people that I was 6'3, they said that was impossible and that I was 6'4 and some ven said I was 6'5, which is not strange given that I am 6'4 1/2 in the morning when I wake up. As for preventing height loss, it is impossible. Just like you cannot prevent strength loss, or intelligence loss. You can mitigate a "little bit", but stop it you cannot. That's called "ageing". There's a saying: "!Father Time took on everybody, and remains undefeated." However, in my case, because I'm almost 8" tallet than the average man, I will probably always be taller than average. If I'm alive at 90(not likely, given that tall men live less), even if I lose a massive 3-4" of height, I will still be taller than the average young man. So it's ok.

If you want to relax for a short period of time, go take a shower and stay in cold water for 1 minute, if we go into hot water for 1 minute, stay in hot water and real cold water for 1 minute, repeat this for 15/20 minutes and you will see that you will relax but not for the whole night.

Water beds are next to zero maintenance. They last for 15 years. All you have to do is put a solution in the mattress once per year. It takes two minutes. Mop buckets? They do not leak. Unless you cut them open with a knife. The only thing he said that is true. Is that a hard side water bed is heavy and you can't move it. Once it set. It cost next to nothing to heat. They are great for your back. The best beds for a bad back or an air mattress. This guy is a liar and most likely never had a water bed. He most likely works for a mattress company.
@MICKEY-l7s3 ай бұрын
This guy obviously has an agenda. Of course you will need a long hose to fill the bed. He points out such nonsense. The timing right to when to turn off the water? That's funny. Yes they are heavy. All of these things you know before you buy the bed. Heating? That's funny also. The water bed heater takes up very little electricity. This guy must work for a mattress company. They are great for your back and well being. they are heavy. They are great beds. This guy is lying to you and most likely never had a water bed.

Is this guy a paid shill? I owned a waterbed for years and loved it. I only got rid of it after a house cat wrecked it! I didn’t want to chance a replacement with her around. Years later, I’m retired and older. I have spent too much money and too many restless nights trying to find a comfortable mattress. This video popped up in my search for information on today’s soft sides waterbed mattresses. There’s absolutely nothing he said that dissuades me from deciding to go with a new waterbed. I only need to ensure that I have a strong enough bed frame. That bit about them being so costly to heat is absolutely hogwash! At most I noticed a $5 difference in my electrical bill!
