Although he lost, one can’t help but marvel at the skill of Federer

Romero could have punched him more, I don't know why he didn't. Adesanya only knew how to run and kick. Adesanya is a hit and run fighter, he never engages directly with his opponent.

Miss this surface speed. I am only watching Federer highlights since the tour is boring copy and paste rinse and repeat basic cookie cutter player all look the same now.

Insane how they're already discussing Rogers potential decline here. How Roger's having to come up with new tricks to survive- he did that for 10 years more...

Do you have Federer's second round match from Australian Open 2014? I think it was against a player named Kavcic.

Super upload of a not so talked about match. You can tell that Roger was finding his bearing with the new racquet here.
@pedal4donuts9 күн бұрын
I’ve never seen Federer struggle so much with his new racquet.
@TheGodsMustBeCrazy9 күн бұрын
Honestly, he got used to it fully by the summer of 2014. He struggled a lot early on to find the right control and power with the new racquet.

This is one of the best clash-of-two-eras matches of all time. The Alcaraz Djokovic Wimbledon final is probably the other great example. I really thought my interest in tennis was going to dwindle down to nothing once Agassi left. Then came the era of the GOATs right on the heels of Agassi. We have been treated to 20 years of outstanding sports entertainment.
