Black can block with pawns, if that happens, then after bishop takes pawn on g6 then that will open up a space for king on g7 and be harder to checkmate.

Guys if Qh3 there is Qg7# In these kinds if puzzles always look at what your opponent is threatening. Also look for forcing moves (checks). This way will be way much easier to find these moves.
