Nah he's not bad, he's just unique compared to all the other characters. I would say he's actually A tier, if only his Y came with super armor.. Next time try to level up Y first, especially on the new map. Dabi main here.

Hey goku i dont know if I ever mentioned but in the settings under the gameplay tab at the very bottom there is a show damage setting try switching it to show all. That shows you total damage done in a combo not the individual hits for ex: if i hit all ticks on endeavors aplha at lvl 1 it shows he does 175 damage 🤯
