Christ the speeds they get up to on the rack. Unthinkable that such speeds on a rack section were possible only a scant few decades ago.

As an American locomotive engineer I love anything and everything Swiss railways! I'm disappointed I was not able to ride the route before the tunnel was constructed. But I can still watch the videos from before. This is the first video I have seen of the tunnel. I didn't realize there was a rack section inside it. Very cool!

I love this route from Luzern to Interlaken! We have stayed in Sachseln several times and Reuti too and traveled this route many times. It is a beautiful part of Switzerland, and I hope to one day go back to this part of Switzerland. I have many wonderful memories of our time in Switzerland with my family.

37:56~49:40 = Lake Lungern(Lungernersee). this lake and town exists as "Lakeville" map in game "World of Tanks". they cutted lake to half(to north and south) and used south part with northern lake coast to make lake and town and moved cathedral(or maybe church) on south side of city to center of town. and also photo of lake used as Windows 10 random recommended pre-login image. if your pc shows it you can say "it's lungern!" or "it's Lakeville of World of Tanks!".

Der neue Bahnhof Hergiswil Matt ist nun schon seit einer weile in betrieb, und die Doppelspur hat sehr gute auswirkungen, zum Beispiel müssen Züge nicht mehr beim Tunnel warten. Es hat sich gelohnt auf jeden fall! Die Einwohner von Hergiswil Matt sind jetzt auch besser mit dem Netz verbunden

Cela a du etre une belle.journee lorsque la video a ete faite. Paysages avec les montagnes en Suisse toujours superbes, meme enneiges, ciel bleu a l'nfini et pas meme un petit nuage vagabondant sur les sommets,dont certains avec de la neige. Bref tout etait parfait. Un souhait revoir ce trajet en totalite sous la neige.

At one hour, one minute and fourty one seconds, look to the left and you will see a wooden bear on the top edge of the hasli valley (blink and yo will miss it!) It tells you that you have left the canton of obwalden and just entered the canton of bern... land of mountains and lakes!!
