Please explain what it means to have a "...700% chance of developing full-blown psychosis..." Chances go from 0% to 100%. The 700% number is clearly wrong. Now I don't feel I can rely on anything else you say here, because of this obvious error.

Good day @baruchben-david4196 Thank you for your comment. I see where the confusion might have come from. The statistic I mentioned is actually 70%, not 700%. This means that there is a 70% chance that individuals with bipolar I disorder will experience psychosis during a manic episode. For accurate information, you can refer to the study by Morrison, which discusses the prevalence of psychotic features in bipolar disorder. I appreciate your attention to detail and will clarify this to avoid confusion. Thanks for helping ensure the information shared is accurate! Reference: Morrison, A. P., Pettigrew, J., & Jones, S. H. (2008). Psychotic symptoms and their relationship with mood in bipolar disorder. Journal of Affective Disorders, 106(1-2), 169-174. Regards

Yes, my bi-polar is getting worse, it is terrible, 72 and it is frustrating say the least. Haloperidol and prozac, plus ativan when i need extra help, help maintain to a point. Anxiety that i have when trying to explain something is overwhelming, stuttering, hand movements are aggravating. Tardive Dyskinesia, in my mouth, tongue, hands and neck and feet. I've heard that it gets worse with age. I've never picked on anyone with disabilities, never will. God help us.

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your concerns and understand that the topic of bipolar disorder is sensitive and important. My aim is to shed light on aspects of the disorder that are often less discussed but crucial for understanding and managing it effectively. The information shared is based on various reputable sources, including research and expert opinions, such as the work of Goodwin and Jamison (2007) on psychosis in bipolar disorder, and studies on cognitive impairment and aggression in bipolar disorder by experts like Berk et al. (2009) and Swann & Daughton (2012). These references were chosen to provide a comprehensive view of the challenges faced by individuals with bipolar disorder. It’s also important to recognize that bipolar disorder is a spectrum disorder, meaning that symptoms can vary widely among individuals. Not everyone will experience all of the symptoms mentioned, and the severity and nature of these symptoms can differ significantly. My intention is to provide a broad overview while acknowledging that each person’s experience with bipolar disorder is unique. If you have any specific concerns or believe there might be additional perspectives that should be included, I’d be glad to hear them and ensure that the content is as balanced and informative as possible. My goal is to contribute to a more informed and empathetic discussion about bipolar disorder, not to cause alarm or distress. Thank you again for your input, and I hope we can continue to support and educate each other on this important topic.

I have felt all the things you discussed. I made life changing decisions that ruined my marriage and life as knew it. I indulged in risky sexual behavior and self harm all on a elevated mood that felt wonderful. Thank you for the video.

Consider the following. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 (ESV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. Blessings to all.

I live with bipolar depression. I am in the public eye. It is such a stigma but its real. Its a blind to the eye disability. I mask mine with makeup, glam and wigs. I am likewise a mother and grandparent. I live a lie. Unfortunately there is no cure for bipolar.

I appreciate you stopping by my channel and leaving a comment. I understand the stigma associated with bipolar disorder because I myself live with it. I believe that every one of us with bipolar wishes that it could be cured. Remind yourself that you are not alone and take good care of yourself.
