Index 12s should Not be faltering like that even if you're at 200,000 miles. I'm wondering where you bought them from. I know a few years back there were devious sellers on ebay and other places that were getting old index numbers and then actually changing them so they would look like authentic index 12s but were actually index 9s or whatever. This was a proven fact. It could still be going on too. Watch out and buy from those you know are legitimate!!!

I bought used ones with 1k miles on them from a reputable seller, I know they were legit. I just purchased new index 12s from a reputable ebay seller.

Hey Jake, how difficult is it to install the bottom mount turbo kit compared to the top mount. Will the engine need to be removed from the chassis or can I just drop the sub-frame as per the top mount kit. Thanks

I dropped the subframe, and did the rod bearings etc but I would say its way easier. I had to relocate very little compared to a top mount.

I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out what st kit i want for my car (piston/rod/sleeved 335is) and teetering between a motiv bottom mount since someone is selling theirs, a doc race kit, or a speedtech kit. Id prefer motiv or speedtech for the bottom mount + recirc exhaust but im having a hard time deciding because im picky on the exhaust note 😂. Anywho great video, clean car🙌🏾🙌🏾

It sounds like it's cutting out at times or is that just the video sound? What rpm is it shifting at, seems low like around 6500?

Shifting around 6800, but cyl 1 injector just died so that couldve been what youre hearing.

How much did you pay for the dct swap? And how have the s55 coils been treating you? I’ve never heard of running those

I did it back in 2019, so like 2500 for the whole thing. S55 coils work very well. Make sure theyre the Eldor brand coils though. People run them at 700+ all the time with no issues. I used to have the precision raceworks coils but I wanted to go back to oem style coils for aesthetics.

@@jakegoldberg8941 Yeah same as mine it's just an msd80 but have fried mosfets in the past so had to upgrade them. Not many people have standalone ecu in the n54 platform as it's not well established yet.
