Buying energy, at increased cost, from other nations is neither smart nor green. I also believe we should build nuclear plants so that we have EXCESS electricity with no carbon (if that is a concern). Drive the electric car, but most of the electricity is coal-generated. Windmills and solar are virtually useless on an industrial level and are not carbon friendly, in spite of the narratives.

Natural gas, nuclear, oil, coal, geothermal, and hydropower are the best. I hope Trump scales nuclear more than Biden did. The EPA EV mandate will be struck down.

Miss Hoffman, I am confussed, are you a journalist or curious podcaster? It is unclear. What it clear is the very favorable bias with which you grace Senator Marshall. So much so as to state false claims. The biggest being the change in public opinion on reasonable gun control legislation based on growing crime rates. According to Department of Justice, FBI statistics at the time of this interview with Marshall violent crime rates across the board were down more than 15% compared to same time 1 year ago. Murder - 26.4%, Rape(reported) - 25.7%, Aggravated assault - 12.5%, Robberies - 17.8% ALL DOWN. As of July 2024, 58% of Americans favor stricter gun laws. These are quite substantial inaccuracies percentage wise, wouldn't you agree? Long term you will build a more sustainable, educated and morally thoughtful following if you are committed to well researched and accurate information in the topics you discuss and the guests you invite. Best Wishes.

"While Walz temporarily held the title of command sergeant major he "retired as a master sergeant in 2005 for benefit purposes because he did not complete additional coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy," Army Lt. Col. Kristen Augé, the Minnesota National Guard’s State Public Affairs Officer, told Just the News." justthenews.com/politics-policy/past-criticisms-vp-nominee-tim-walzs-retirement-military-resurface

Voter for wolves here. I know the consequences of my actions. Ranchers and sportsmen will take a hit. But you have had far, FAR too big of a disproportionate say on what happens with our public lands over the past 100 years and it's devastated the actual ecosystems which you claim to protect. So I don't really care. Deal with it.

I fully support indavidual hunters being omitted from any kind of "conservation" language when discuss environmental legislation and here is why- The vast majority of right leaning hunters do not believe in climate change, they do not believe in rewinding efforts, they do not believe in reintroduction efforts, they do not believe in limiting drilling and mining, they do not believe in restoration of damed rivers, and they do not believe in any kind of environmental movements at large. Those hunters who call them selves "conservationist" come from purely self centered *don't take my rights away* ethos, that sugar coat themselves in environmental stewards. You are not. You believe in humans first and the environment second. Good intentions or not, you are in this game for the take, not for the restoration. This is evidently clear in places like Wyoming where animal right don't even apply to carnivores- a self serving North American Conservation model that cherry picks what being a good steward does and does not mean for the sake of their cultural ethics.
